- MUSCLE CAR RALLY kicks off today with the help and showmanship of EP from EP VIDEOS! This is the first collaboration for the channel. It is an honor and a privilege to work alongside EP @epvideosdiecastracing
Sixteen Modified Muscle Cars facing off across two tracks culminating in an epic final round to determine the champion of Thunder Run and Pikes Peak over at EP Videos... the Champion of the Muscle Car Rally.
Today, Thunder Run welcomes back some familiar fan favorite names in Diecast Racing!

I just... I'm GUSHING over the DESIGNS and DETAIL on these diecast vehicles; amazing! And absolute INSANITY by Mr. Darq, the 'old hand' racing to VICTORY in races two and three; this is the freaking BEST--but then, holy crap!!! IRON BEARD!!!! IRON BEARD KILLS IT in race four!
Aren't these cars so beautiful! These builders truly outdid themselves, and the races look great! Iron Beard and Darq really put on a show, really fought for those wins in a storm of twisted metal. Thanks so much for watching!
@@theskyway The cars, beautiful? Are they EVER! What do these guys DO?! Sit for hours with tiny, tiny brushes and magnifier stations? Use some sort of stencilling?! To buy an, I guess, 'ordinary' diecast of any colour and then customize it with a repaint, the detailing... the dedication to sit and do that is just amazing and the results are so incredible--and they look epic on camera!

I’m over here jumping for joy! The start of another EPIC tournament at the skyway… and of course you SLAYED it. Spectacular job my friend. I’m over here just thinking about how difficult it is to do “co-voice overs” for something like this. Not detail was skimped on here. 11/10 would highly recommend
You just know that arranging and editing those bits of commentary to come off so naturally had to be 5 or 10 times the work of one host announcing solo! Top shelf quality!

Breath takingly AWESOME racing and exhilarating action and commentary. Off da freakin hook and over the top production. Gratz to Mr. Darq and James Ironbeard. WTG! I had my doubts about muscle on a rally track but mostly went well for the drivers until. WTF moments happened and cars went a flying off the twister, and I believe 1 car took a dive before the twister. CRICKEY!
Sonny the emotion you exude during the races electrifies your commentary taking the entire race and fans to a whole other world of racing experience. Super fantastic MEGA level awesomeness!

heheh Mr. Darq was caught drawing a pentagram under each of the cars in the garage. He said he was "blessing" them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
First thing I want to say, in race #3 the red car flew off the track just after the start and same thing happened to the green car in race #4. This is a no-no in Diecast racing, so the track needs some adjustments. The second thing I wanted to say is that it’s interesting to watch Heavy vs Light weight cars to see which performs better than the other.

I was hoping with keeping in between the weight category on this track, going with the winner of Sonny's Thunder Run races I went with 50g...but I didnt consider the restarts he took with that first piece 😅

Round 3, What is up with that corner? The cars seem to be center track and BAM, just pop up and roll over.
Its a tough turn because its taking a lot of speed, And there is an alignment with grooves that is a delicate balance.
@@theskyway Thanks for the reply. I had the same issue. I fixed it. First I secured and glued the turn best I could. Then I used my Dremel tool with the scotch brite abrasive wheels, 150, 180, 300, and 420. It's a little slick but the bump is gone. Thanks again.
