YOU KNOW WHAT! Savant doesn't even begin to describe how much of a wordsmith this man is. I am not gonna lie I thought this song was going to be similar to Daechwita when it came to the contents of the songs but WOOOOH was I wrong. The way he got philosophical - I am in love.
There are two meanings for Heageum. It's a Korean instrument that yoongi used in the song and it also means lifting of a ban.
Haegeum can mean both the traditional Korean instrument and a lifting of a ban/prohibition. Which is amazing because he raps about this song being a haegeum, or announcing to the world that he is freeing himself of his shackles, a form or artistic liberation, a haegeum... while the instrument haegeum is heard being played on the track.

4:40 yes, this song is part of the trilogy. The last song is Amygdala. You will learn about the scar w/ that music video. Also, everything he mentions in Amygdala happened to him during his life and family.

Yes, he is a good lyricist and a brilliant producer and among the BTS members he is the main producer , composer, songwriter that's. Suga's music is very deep and everything in that music video ( even that fish inside the despenser container) has symbolism particularly the scar. You'll find out the origin of that scar when you react the last song of the trilogy AMYGDALA.
Suga building a storyline from DAECHWITA and making a sequel Haegeum down to AMYGDALA as his conclusion. AMYGDALA is more of autobiography bcoz it's Suga's life story.

LYRICS! omg You really pick up on a lot of intentional content, I've never seen anyone else pick up on the jacket at the end. But yah the deep keel of BTS is lyrics. All of their other talents ride on top of that. Wow is right! Makes everybody want to learn Korean, which kind of blows the whole kpop shrug thing we wonder why we did.
I barely noticed the jacket, but I just caught it out of the corner of my eye 😅 I wasn't expecting the lyrics to be deep philosophically more hard but I am different way but it was a work of art in it's own right 🤩
