Wow, this is awesome - the SOUND, the playing, everything is right and top-notch on point! I realy like how you showed the tabs while playing, genius idea. Thank you so much! KVLT COVER of a KVLT SONG.
@@lunarisalpha I used to say that kind of ready-made sentence all the time. But the reality is even though In The Nightside Eclipse already sounds great (it's my favourite Emperor album and way better than Anthems, in my opinion), it would only benefit from having a clearer guitar sound. You can barely listen to the riffs most of the times. In the remastered version the guitar sound is way better than the original.
@@magnobeliero236 ok, I understand now. I've got the ITNE remastered too. The sound is good and the BM feeling is already live. I'm very tied with the BM sound of 90's, expecially with the Grieghallen Studios.
Decent, but a lot of it is played very differently to how Ihsahn plays it. You should read "Scattered Ashes" the tab book he personally made, it's more accurate.
@@GuillaumeVrac Not sure if you were trying to be smarmy, but I have a cover coming out soon in my one-man bm project. I'll let you know when it's done ;)
www.guitarworld.com/features/emperor-symphony-destruction "IHSAHN I was playing a black ESP six-string. It was fairly nice. We used transistor Peavey amps, because they have that really harsh black metal sound. I think I went straight into the amps, no effects. It was a simple setup. I also used Roland keyboards. SAMOTH I was using a Kramer, the Peavey Bandit 112 and a Boss OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion pedal. It was a very primitive setup and there wasn’t much power, but those Peaveys had lots of distortion. Ihsahn had the higher-pitched buzz-saw sound, and I had the bottom-end buzz-saw"

Excellent cover, pis votre band ça torche aussi sur un méchant temps, j'espère un jour que vous allez venir nous rendre visite au québec !

I really appreciate the staff showing the notes! Thanks! I'll be checking out your channel for more old black metal.
Non seulement la cover est extrêmement bien réalisé mais en plus cela va m’aider à travailler le morceau, merci d’avoir fait une telle vidéo ;)
Holy Shit, Bandit really does its job.
I’m late to the party. This popped up in my feed, and I thought, sure I’ll check it out. Blown away, great video and immediate sub.
Astonishing.
Thank you
I’ve learned so much from you, thank you
You are fantastic!!
Thank you for the comment 🙏 !
Only if In The Nightside Eclipse originally sounded like this haha
That would be nuclear.
@@hadeseye2297 the overall feel of the album is just great. The only problem is that the riffs are buried under so much reverb.
@@magnobeliero236 The original recording of In the Night Eclipse is wonderful. It's pure magic. Sounds like Black Metal must be.

Main riff is fun. I just learned how to tremolo pick a week ago so I’d figure I’d try this song.

Why does everyone switch the two guitars in the intro

so how'd you get the tone, tho?
What distortion pedal did you use?
No pedal here
Overdrive of the amplifier I think it uses
