im a barber & both my mom & dad were barbers... i left home at 15 & wore my hair down past my shoulders for the next 25 years, & my dad always said one day he was gonna cut my ponytail off... then, a few years ago, well, it all fell out... now im rockin the "michael jr look" (haha) ...point being that after all that, my dad & i ended up working together for 20 of my 30 (so far) years in the buisness untill he passed away & he never did get to cut my hair, but i got to be the one to cut his hair all the time... in ernest, we had a strained relationship, but me cutting his hair was our "we have to talk to each other time" & it ended up being a very positive thing... plus he knew i was holding the clippers, so that made him be nice to me, at least for the 20 or so minutes it took for the haircut (haha) ...but we talked alot about faith during me givin him those haircuts, captive audience & all that... & while laying in a hospital bed dying of a very agressive cancer, he accepted christ... so... anyway... sorry, i rambled... but i always enjoy ur videos bro, thanx
I love you guys relationship!!!! I enjoyed this video and the last one with you teach him to defend himself with the dabb!😂 It's so beautiful to see a positive son and father duo especially one in Christ and African American!!! Shout out to all my brothers in Faith and my "bruthas" who are being the head of their homes and raising their children in the ways of the Lord!
So precious! Your adorable son seems to realize he scored the best dad ever! (Even though you didn't give him the best hair cut) You have a powerful message that so many families need to hear ...
This was great. Fun to watch you have that time with your son, & get a wonderful message too. He will pass that story to his children. He’s adorable by the way! 🤗
I appreciate your story, Michael Jr. I have considered what my daughter's father went through, and I'm thankful to have had that perspective all these years since, yet my daughters and I still struggle with the effects of what he put us through, so please pray for us.
The best part was going back in the past relating it to the present and being delivered whereas not to pass the same abuse. The haircut was the by product of the real issue. Praise God for healing and the love of God
Amen to that!! I tell my son all the time, you are bless with heaven's best because my childhood growing up was a nightmare, but with God's grace I overcame and decided to put an end to the abusive cycle...with God's help of course! 👏👏👏👌
I knew your aunt Sis. Wright. I grew up in church knowing her at Church Of God Pentecostal where Bishop Roosevelt Beville is pastor. She was family to me and very missed. I’m still a member there till this day. Thanks for making us laugh. Keep moving forward. God Bless.
My Story is Actually very VERY SIMILAR to your Dad/Grandfather.... I have 2 Younger Brothers ( Identical twins)...... So we Got Sick of the Abuse & I decided to try giving it a Shot...... The Funniest thing is Since my Brothers are Twins I Had a Chance to Fix my Mistakes From the First Brother on the Next....... Problem was Which One I could Get to Go 1st.......LoL
My dad cuts both my hair & my brother's, he's pretty good for a guy who is self learned/observing barbers. Only thing, we cut our hair outside bc it makes so much of a mess inside. I like it & it only costs what little it takes to charge the trimmer.
Michael JR...... 1st Off I wanna let You Know how Blessed Your Gift For Comedy & Wisdom & Wittiness & Downright love has Inspired Me..... I’m a Licensed BARBER but only able to Operate in that GIFT part time....... I’m A Full-time Submarine Construction Worker For the USA Navy but am Working on Building My Business So I can Eventually Operate Full-time in My Gift..... Long Story Short....... I Love what I do So Much that I would Love to Provide a Fresh Cut to Your Son “Free” Just to be Able To Kick It with Y’all & Fellowship...... Me/My FAMILIA Love You & All You Do..... Thank you for your Time.....
I used to hare it when my dad cut my hair. He'd refer to "onion peels"...almost bald. When I got older I grew it long and eventually had locks that were halfway down my back
I never let my parents cut my hair so they spent a small fortune over the years on mainly buzz cuts. When I turned 18 and wanted to frost it, mom and dad told me I could pay for it lol. In their defense it was a $50 job :p
Michael...I really do love you and pray about you wholeheartedly. I am a Christian too and I watch you often because when I don't... I miss ya silly and funny self...However, please make some room for advice and let your handsome son, "in whom you are well PLEASED," go to a BARBER SHOP because I think you can DO this...HERE'S THE THING (that's your line, I ain't tryna steal) HONESTLY...THE BACK and TOP of his head---is all jacked up...DO him a favor and DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT and DO LIKE NIKE, "JUST DO IT! :))))
nah, he's fine. It'd just be crazy vanity to go get all prettied up. I got 4 boys, and their momma cuts their hair too. She might be a bit better though, lol, but point is, we aren't waistin' good money on something that's going to grow back either...just to be vain and all.
I assume this haircut is meant as a joke? This cut can't be for real, no way. If he however was serious, then I feel very sorry for his son. The cut was really poorly done, so I have to conclude that this whole thing was meant as a little joke on his son.

Real facts..tell jokes, don't cut hair, unless it's a joke....lol
Hey it looked better than it did when he started and that’s all that matters. It’s going to grown back!
Lol! I agree! I love this episode, though.
Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
So precious! Your adorable son seems to realize he scored the best dad ever! (Even though you didn't give him the best hair cut) You have a powerful message that so many families need to hear ...
"My dad use to cut my hair"
Is that why you're bald? 😂🤣
I looked at his head when he said that too 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The story is powerful. The boy is handsome enough to overshadow the cut.
He is very handsome
This was great. Fun to watch you have that time with your son, & get a wonderful message too. He will pass that story to his children. He’s adorable by the way! 🤗
God bless you Michael Jr.! What a profound story.
We need more fathers like Michael jr. Hope to see him perform
I appreciate your story, Michael Jr. I have considered what my daughter's father went through, and I'm thankful to have had that perspective all these years since, yet my daughters and I still struggle with the effects of what he put us through, so please pray for us.
Thank you Michael for showing you love your son.
I love the message and the relationship you have with your son.

Wonderful first one. Love everything you do. It’s a joy to meet your son today. Keep giving us happy moments. Bless.
This is amazing. Awesome message. Thank you Michael Jr!
The best part was going back in the past relating it to the present and being delivered whereas not to pass the same abuse. The haircut was the by product of the real issue. Praise God for healing and the love of God
Awww, good message, thank you for sharing!! It's great seeing your son in your vlogs too 🙏🏾 🙏🏾
Amen to that!! I tell my son all the time, you are bless with heaven's best because my childhood growing up was a nightmare, but with God's grace I overcame and decided to put an end to the abusive cycle...with God's help of course! 👏👏👏👌

I remember not wanting to go and hated sitting in that chair with the barber turning my head back and forth. 😂 😂
🥰 aww your son is so good!
Love it all!
Keep cutting and talking 👍🏼
Good job!
What do you remember most about getting your hair done growing up?
That I had hair on my head to cut. It is gone like the Avengers in Avengers 4.
My Story is Actually very VERY SIMILAR to your Dad/Grandfather.... I have 2 Younger Brothers ( Identical twins)...... So we Got Sick of the Abuse & I decided to try giving it a Shot...... Didn't like it lol
Cuts
Used to get a pop in the head with the ace comb. Didn’t hurt, but it got my attention...
Beautiful father-son bonding moment, beautiful life lesson....umm, but NOT a beautiful haircut, Michael! Lol.
Thank you so much for these awesome words!
That’s what God told me ones very clearly: don’t judge because you don’t know all the circumstances...🧐
Well said and done ✅
My husband cuts our sons hair also. We watch and listen to you all the time you are so funny....
I knew this was his son before Mike started speaking.
Lol
Twins
Lol 😂 You’re a cool father.
i said a prayer for that fade and sent a like to the video
Oh that laugh! 😂
You are an awesome Dad... My dad abused my siblings and I. I just welcomed my son into the world Feb 23 and have vowed to never hit him.
🤣🤦🏽♀️ I'm not paying $30! Anyone else wondering how he got skills and he's bald 🤔😍😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
#MuchLove #AlwaysAwesome
Hey MICHAEL! you need to go to BARBER COLLEGE. 😁👍
My dad cuts both my hair & my brother's, he's pretty good for a guy who is self learned/observing barbers. Only thing, we cut our hair outside bc it makes so much of a mess inside. I like it & it only costs what little it takes to charge the trimmer.
Here in rural KY hair cuts are $11....and we all complained because they used to be only $10 😂
Good job on the haircut! I have always cut my sons’ hair. Now the baby is in the Air Force and the elder son lets his hair grow..
Good father!
But... I ain't doing that either. Haha
I... Think.... you should just pay the 30. You jacked that beautiful boy up, I saw that...just pay my brotha!😂💝💪🔥☝
Wow! Yes...Break those generational curses!

Ivan, keep pursuing your gift and keep your focus on God!
It's a shame you haven't been to Cincinnati, Ohio. My family and I hunt for your videos regularly. #KeepShinning
He's so handsome!!
Michael Jr. ... invest in some clipper guards
My grandfather used to cut my hair. Man took so long that I always ended up sleeping 😂
Well, you are a comedian
I used to hare it when my dad cut my hair. He'd refer to "onion peels"...almost bald. When I got older I grew it long and eventually had locks that were halfway down my back
Too funny
Great job on your son's hair! If you cut enough of it off, did you think of donating it to Locks Of Love?
I never let my parents cut my hair so they spent a small fortune over the years on mainly buzz cuts. When I turned 18 and wanted to frost it, mom and dad told me I could pay for it lol. In their defense it was a $50 job :p
Handsome son! A chip off the ol' block... except better. 😉
Woo woo wooooo
Dang!

All i can say about that haircut is, he got what he paid for. Ha

Michael jr, I was wondering....you ain’t got no hair
Michael...I really do love you and pray about you wholeheartedly. I am a Christian too and I watch you often because when I don't... I’m sorry Michael but that hair cut is so bad I counts as abuse. Please take the boy to a barber 😂😂
Beautiful message all the same ♥️
😂😏🐬😢
Is he the son that wanted to be a dinosaur when he grew up? How's that going?
How old is your son?
My son can't stand it when I cut his hair. I cut my own hair. #BaldorNothing
God loves you, Jesus Christ saves give Him a chance.
Not the best cut, but better than paying 30
Sorry, Michael Jr, but you did a horrible job. Your is going to continue to break the curse and take his son to the barber. LOL.
I assume this haircut is meant as a joke? This cut can't be for real, no way. If he however was serious, then I feel very sorry for his son. The cut was really poorly done, so I have to conclude that this whole thing was meant as a little joke on his son.
With all due respect Mike, please stick to comedy. Lololol!!!!! That fade is buns.
Your cuts are terrible
How old is your son?
