I saw this and knew I needed this for my stream, I am having trouble connecting my fog machine to qlc+ and was hoping you had some suggestions or could offer some help

The VF1100 smoke machine linked in the description has a Midi DIN connector and not a DMX adaptor - Im trying to setup using a USB to MIDI adapter plugged from my PC to the Smoke machine but none of the Universe sliders trigger the smoke machine - Any help Sam ?

Is there a way to link this command to when someone cheers a certain amount of bits on your twitch page like say 500 bits triggers the smoke machine to go on and off. Also is there a another video QLC + never used that before.
wait so the fog machine you're using has a female slot but the dmx to usb products you listed all use a dmx female as well. how do i get them to plug in to each other?
I had the same issue whereby the VF1100 smoke machine has a 5 Pin MIDI DIN connector but the adaptors are all USB to DMX (The smoke machine is not DMX, its DIN)
Hey bud, So I bought a smoke machine, it has a wireless controller and a manual trigger that plugs into the xlr/dmx connector on the back, I have purchased a dmx to USB cable, but do I need to buy one of those DMX boxes or is the cable enough? I hope this makes sense 😅
How would I connect my smoke machine to the pc and the back of it only has manuel controll but nit sure if it can run a dmx or if it's only for wireless remote controller it comes with

There is a link in the description of the video. I can't tell but don't think you will get a DMXable smoke machine under 100 Dollar. The cheap machines are mostly button driven

You would need a USB to DMX interface that’s mentioned in the first midi tutorial video

Every DMX Smoke machine should work. That is actually dependent on the DMX software you use. Lumia triggers only that software's commands
