Thanks for your review. Totally agree with everything you report. I started with a large, humidified ResMed as prescribed, then bought the AirMini for travel (with 110v AC & 12v adapters). As I used them, I discovered that I simply prefer the AirMini. I don't care about additional humidification, room air temp is fine for my nose, and the smaller size leaves more room on a side table. At first I was bothered by the AirMini's slightly greater noise, but I found that placing the unit farther away and ensuring a good fit with my nasal pillows solves that. The big one is packed away and I may never use it again. It takes little space in a suitcase. Because it is a medical device, its case doesn't count as part of the carry-on allowance. So if you choose to pack it separately, extra space in its case can hold additional belongings. When I do that, I stick my AirMini in the big one's case; lots of extra room then.
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that a CPAP this small would come out. I've been using the Airfit P10 for quite some time now and love the thing! I ended up in Salem Hospital and forgot to bring my CPAP. The mask they gave me to use was this full face thing. Let me say, I would've preferred an Alien face hugger! Thank you so much for this video. I'm gonna have to go score one of these things!!
@@curtwinterstein1067 Thanks for the comment! Over the last 6 weeks we were only home 5 days, so I had a chance to really get some use out of the AirMini. I even used it on the plane going to Europe. It performed great. It’s so much easier to travel with. You can adjust the pressure yourself, which I had to do. I found that the settings for my Air Sense11 were way too high and the pressure kept blowing my mouth open. You will need a prescription from your Dr. to order one and they will ship it to the settings the Dr. recommends.
As always great detailed video. Would be nice if you could charge the battery with a solar array. I too cannot go a night without my CPAP. I was able to use a 12 volt plug with my CPAP and run off of an RV battery while in Maine camping with no issues.

Thanks for the comment! Great idea to put the Mini in the larger AirSense case and pack other things with it!

Thanks! I think you can charge the battery with solar.
