HI Kylie, I recently found your channel and have just finished binge-watching all the episodes 😍😍I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of them and I'm looking forward to the next one. Please take care of yourself. My Ravelry queue is now huge , thanks to your slide shows ❤ and I have also ordered Issues 1-4 of Yarnologie. What a beautiful magazine, which I would never have known about if you hadn't shown it. Thankyou ❤❤❤
So so happy to have you back! Always important to take care of ourselves. Goingback to school is a good thing. I went back at 58 to become a RN at 62, still working at 77, ha. Stay happy & healthy!❤
Good for you for finding a solution that allowed you to continue with a company and job that matters to you. I admire that you were able to make changes that clearly helped you to get your mojo back. You were missed!
Yes, I did watch you all in one go. Nice to see you back. All your knits are lovely. I love the pink hat for the little one. She will have the one and only hat like that. I wouldn't be too fussy, you could always knit another one for Lucy. Thank you for sharing.
So lovely to see you and have a catch up! I'm outside in my screen room knitting and seeing all of your lovely projects. I think little Lucy will love the pink hat 💖 Take care and I'll see you soon❣️
Sooooo Glad you are BACK! You were missed! Life is hard. My son and I were discussing this today at lunch. Then...along comes a hummingbird in all it's tiny beauty to bring wonder and joy, only for a moment, but long enough to help us catch our breath. Have a wonderful time camping, I'm going to order my Bribaree Socks now!!! Thank you!
Awwwwww! So good to see your shining face again! I’m here for the ‘babbling’. 😁 Work issues can be so hard! It’s good to know you’ve been able to get things sorted. You’re my fav person to knit with, so it’s just great to have you back in the YT knitting world. Have a blast camping and good luck with all those hats! 💚🧶🏕️☕️
Hey Kylie, I'm so happy to see your lovely face and know that all is ok in your world. We have missed you. Lovely knitting as usual and lots of fun coming up for you with the camping trip and the grandies. Lovely memories being made xx
Love the clover!!! Your sock pattern may be my first paid for pattern.💗 I get how much a change in work personnel can make our entire life miserable. We spend most of our time working. I am, however, glad that you have new working and professional development opportunities. I thoroughly enjoy you. I feel as if I could sit for tea with anytime 💗💗💗
Hey there gal! Great to see you 🎉 Quick note or I'll forget: love the hot pink hat with the pooling effect. It fits with the crazy hot pink! Why not? (more later) 😘
Hi I think the pooling on the pink hat is fine. It is for a little girl who loves pink and I am sure she will Love It. If you don't like the feel of it, giving it to her will be ideal.
So happy to see you back. You've been busy with your knitting, love all your finished projects. I wish you all the best in your new job. Good on you for taking your own advise...If you don't love it Stop....
Welcome back! You have been missed. After checking daily, concerned that something big must be going on in your life, how pleased I was to see you back and in such good form! Good success on your new adventures!
Missed you Kylie glad you’re back girl !!!! All your knits are beautiful and so informative with different tars wools etc So sorry about your mom So sorry about your job and happy you are out of that environment Kylie and enjoying it so far You need to take care of yourself cause no one else will,,, very important Prayers for you girl 😊💝💝🇨🇦
Good to hear you've found a way to take care of yourself. Stay well and happy and looking forward to seeing you when you come back. Love your new pattern. Will purchase your pattern. See ya soon 😊😊😊😊😊
Am going to purchase those socks and knit for my mum and I think they will make great gifts for new mum's Hang in there Kylie, we're with you in thoughts.
Lovely to have you back Kylie, Im glad to hear youre ok now and you loved hearing how you faced the issues at hand and dealt with them in such a brilliant manner. A change too is like a holiday and it sounds like its just what you needed. I hope you enjoy your holiday with your grandchildren, I'm sure everything will go so smoothly, visiting grandparents allows for extra room for fun. Your knits as always are inspiring and gorgeous, the LYS is beautiful, its been in my faves for a while, and your anthology is something to be super proud of! Cant wait til you come back for another catch up. Take care. Cheers MrsP
So glad you are back. Good for you for taking care of yourself! I look forward to hearing about your new position and new design ideas….not really a sock knitter but can’t wait for your sweater design.
So happy to see you again!! ❤ I just bought and downloaded your socks in honor of your Mum! They are beautiful and will go on my needles soon!! Thanks so much and don’t stay away so long again! Hugs from far away Virginia! ❤
Love your LYS- that yellow is just adorable !! Loved seeing all your knits - I’m nursing a foot reconstruction so lots of knitting time and podcasts for me. Glad you’ve sorted out work issues. My daughter works in a school in western Sydney with a lot of aboriginal and islander families so we do have a snippet into how difficult it is at times. Congrats on the sock pattern
I have worked for the same organisation for 37 years, and I find any more than 10 years in a team is too long for me, I need to work with different people or utilise new skills. Otherwise I get fed up with change for changes sake by new management, or team members that want no change at all, and I lack enthusiasm. Happy to hear the 'move' is a pleasant challenge. Enjoy the grand kids 😊.
So nice to see you back again and glad things are working out for you. Love the sock pattern, and as an obsessive sock knitter, it will be in my pattern collection shortly!
Good to see you back Kylie! Sorry for the distress you’v3 dealt with - ‘one door closes another opens!’ Lovely knits! You are inspiring. I noticed you joined the Knits n Pieces live podcast last Tuesday - I was excited to see you with us. Kelly & Noelle podcast from near Sarnia Ontario which is nearby to me in southwestern Ontario.
Lol, I had a laugh to myself about the half and half comment, I too have knit two . A big and then a bigger and now I want to knit it even bigger. I find it such a relaxing knit. Love your beads instead of bobbles, so pretty. Your colour store for your throw is stunning.thanks for the cable tip.
Hi Kylie, So nice to see you back. I’m a nurse down here in Tassie working in very challenging conditions so I can understand your position and I’m glad you were able to make changes. Your knitting is beautiful and I’m just going to hop over to Ravelry now and buy the sock pattern. I will think of all the beautiful mums when I am knitting them. Take care and thanks for a wonderful podcast.
Kylie Gee, just thought that I would pop in and say hello. I'm glad that you told me why you have been missing in action 🎬. I hope that your new job is going well. I have missed you. Just got through watching 👀 your episode 12 where you expressed your thoughts on the MKAL twist and turns. I agree 100% !!!! Last year was the first time I did the MKAL. And it was the last. No more mystery for me. The colors that I chose look like sherbet ice cream. I put it in a drawer. Currently, I am knitting Stephen's Woolley Waffle Shawl in LA Bien Amiee ( if you know, you know), which is a stunning shawl knit in a 4 color fade. I live in the U.S.A. in Owasso, Oklahoma. I look forward to seeing you soon on your next podcast. Take care my friend.
Lovely to see you again Kylie and good on you for taking some time out for your self. Your anthology throw is gorgeous, as is all your knitting projects.
Oh I just love your episodes! So glad to see you again and to hear that the changes you've made have been great ones for you. Loved all the FOs--wow that throw!! I need more cardis, also...(even living on the border of topics/subtropics the light layering options are always needed). Best wishes on your new endeavor/position and on those WIPs! And happy camping with those grandkids.
Hello Kylie, great to have you back. Your knitting is beautiful. Sorry to hear your work issues, I hard a similar thing, (mine was an injury I got at work, drama) needless to say after 9 years with the company I quit. My stress level was not worth the sh*t they put me through. It took me over a year to decompress and start enjoying retirement. I never worked again it’s been 3 years living off of savings, now my pension is due and my injury effects my knitting.😔
What an amazing amount of beautiful knits you had to catch us up on. They are all so beautiful. That Anthology throw is a work of art. I don't know how you just rip back the cable. When I zig when I should have zagged, I end up tinking the whole lot back to my mistake. I know. I'm not the hugest fan of the pooling like that in the hat, but, I would perhaps show a photo to your granddaughter and see what she thinks of it. I have knit the HHF sock for socks yarn and I think it's the BFL that is firmer and doesn't feel quite as nice. It does block to a nicer fabric though, but mine have been for wearing as socks on the feet, not the more delicate head like a hat. I'm so sorry you have been going through such a life altering experience. It is so awful how others actions impact us. Good on you for making the change though. I would say the level of fear you have with that excitement is purely the unknown, but your employer has faith in you, so you should too. I think it's a great idea not to put a time on when you will do your podcasts, it's nice to be like that friend that just pops in for a cuppa and a catch up when they can. Oh and I did get your lovely sock pattern, I just need to get around to casting on a pair, maybe after all these winter knits I'm in the middle of. Catch you soon.
Really nice to see you back. The finished objects are all stunning. Even though it's been a while I still think it's amazing to see the amount of knitting you do and the lovely things you make. Love the socks as well. As a sock knitter I can't not buy it, so that one wille be going on my needles soon :) Take care of yourself
Please keep sharing your 'mistakes'. It just normalized it for the rest of it. I just finished a yoked tee, and did a sewn bind off. I tried it on to determine how long I wanted the sleeves and realized the body had about 10 inches positive ease, and I have no excuse based on how many times I tried it on. I cut the bind off and ripped back to the sleeve separation so that I could reduce the number of sts cast on under the arm. I am now knitting the body over again. It is a light fingering on 3.5 mm. I hope to finish it this month. Wish me luck. I truly enjoy your episodes!
It's so good to see you back, I was worried you'd decided enough was enough! There is no enough! Those socks are really cute so you'll see another notification soon! Having said that, your health , both physical and mental is the most important. Look after yourself and enjoy the new challenges in your work.
Hi Kylie just found your channel! Great info, I was wondering where you get your wool from as an Aussie knitter. It is hard to find on you tube they are mostly overseas knitters. Thanks again 😊
I pay extra for postage tracking. Too many WIPs. Just concentrate on one at a time. Trying to stretch your concentration over so many WIPs on the go all at once, is overwhelming.
I hope that all is well. I know you had mentioned you had some things going on this summer but I had hoped to see you back by now.

You're finally back. So very great to see how many projects you completed and working on. You have been a busy bee is an under statement. Love it all.
Your LYS is beautiful. The Birbaree socks are lovely. Good podcast. So glad you changed jobs. Challenges keep us going.
Good for you for finding a solution that allowed you to continue with a company and job that matters to you. I admire that you were able to make changes that clearly helped you to get your mojo back.

Hi kylie just discovered your podcast love it sending love and hugs from the uk
So glad to see you back. Loved all your knitted garments and your anthology throw was just spectacular!
Stripe it with some navy blue and you'd hardly notice the pooling, e.g. pull it back and put navy into the stripes.
I found your podcast and was so excited to find another knitter in Cairns! Do you still
Podcast? 😊
Hi Kylie just found your channel! Great info, I was wondering where you get your wool from as an Aussie knitter. It is hard to find on you tube they are mostly overseas knitters. Thanks again 😊
Hi Kylie Could you please tell me which yarn you used for your half and half triangle wraps. Thanks. Paula.
Hi Paula,
I have used the Holst int the Coast base.
