Troy is a Filipino and is LA based Producer, but this album has 24 tracks of OPM music , and along with Mori , has Jorden Sparks singing , Akin Ka Na Lang....has Loreen Allred and Pia Toscano singing Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw, the album is called Dalamhati

The original is a rock classic from 1995 by the Eraserheads and is part of a musical.
The English translation on the Internet is bad, so I corrected it:

Now imagine how hot it is in the tropics in the afternoon, two teenagers dancing after school.
The original song has details about shaking hips and hands slipping down from the shoulder.
And in the original also has a middle part telling what happened to the girl in the meantime.
As it is now sung by a woman instead of by a man, so they probably chose to skip that.
Anyhow Morissette managed to still give the feeling of longing for a lost love of youth.
Her delivery gives the feel of a black and white memory bursting back into full color.

Morissette and Troy sing "If I ain't got you" in a recent recording at "The Loft" as part of the "Good Times at the Loft" which is a series of loft concerts. Probably they were working on this already.
Troy is a Filipino-American but also Cebuano (an ethnolinguistic group of the Philippines, with a native language related to but different from Tagalog - the Philippines has over a hundred languages and around 12 major ones due to the islands and mountains) like Morissette.
Troy is for Filipino music what Quincy Jones was for African-American music, in a way.
His third album collection of Filipino songs has American singers covering Akin Ka Na Lang AND Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw, songs that have been associated mostly with Morissette.
And this unexpected cover by Morissette of a very popular 1990s Filipino rock classic.

As far as I recall, El bimbo was a Pilipino invented title to a favorite Latin instrumental ballroom type of music played always on radios as its title was not known at times it starts its popularity..it was within the 70's.
I think the title translates to "The Last El Bimbo!" Our friends from the Philippines have to explain to us what exactly it's about!
