When Hyper was released in the US for Playstation 2, the USver was absolutely broken and unplayable. The reason the game play was broken was because of the notorious difficulty. No matter what difficulty you put it on (even on the easiest setting) the difficulty is ALWAYS on Lv8. The Japanese version is by far the most fun and playable than the US
Terrible translations aside, this was definitely the best version to play... I kid you not, I once saw a whole bunch of dudes try in vain to finish the non-Asian Super Turbo back in the day, and nobody could do it, not even with Akuma. (*_*) (Also, how come Ryu morphs into Guy at the end of the game?!)

Insanely hard game. Yet, easier than US ST. Ruthless 90s Capcom.

There is no difference in difficulty between the US and Asia.
You should be playing World of Warcraft or Halo two in 2004
