Spyker Workshop - Spyker Snow Blower 2X & Troy-Bilt Gas Snow Blower!

***Please note as I said in the video, the Spyker KAT is not meant to replace a gas snow blower. They each have their own purpose. A gas blower can handle pretty much anything. My KAT is meant for medium amounts of snow, which it can clear faster and easier then a gas blower. This video is just to show the size difference and that the KAT can handle some wet snow.
Probably the last snow-fall of the year! Super wet heavy snow 40F next week =( we only got about 3 inches last night so I could not get all that much footage comparing these machines but still sweet!

Love this thing. I priced a kit out in your shop. How much would one save if they printed it at home? Just a ballpark amount factoring in the material to print but not buying a printer.

Cool toy! I thought it was funny in the video the plan was to do a head to head compare against an average snowblower and compact snow conditions. Then it looked like the snowblower was doing better at scraping the driveway, but then it was like enough of that - lets just get two Spyker Kats going side by side because they are awesome! Post an assembled one for sale on facebook marketplace!

Yeah my friend didn't quite get the hang of trimming the blower in the vid yet. Un-like the gas blower, you have to set the angle of the blower on the KAT from the controller, too high you ride up the snow and leave lots behind, too low and you loose traction, defiantly a learning curve to getting used to the KAT

I’m working on printing mine right now. Can’t wait to have the parts printed and start putting it together. I have one printer that I can print the parts on due to it being the only one set up to print with abs.
I have been following your Chanel for a long time.
Ever thought of making a plow for the front for vary light snows?

This is awesome! But it does look like the regular snowblower cleans better to the ground. Is that because of the extra weight?

The weight helps the gas one but the KAT can, my friend driving the KAT was going way too fast so it dident give enough time to clear it so it started riding up, I just tried to keep next to them for cool footage shots lol

What would happen to the performance if you would design it so the blades where rotating the other way on your spyker in these conditions?

I actually tried that the other day LOL. My transmission allows the auger to be flipped 180, and rotate the opposite way but still pulling snow to the center. It did not work at all though, it just created a pile of snow in front, very little would get back to the impeller.
