Many wealthy people work until they pass. Why retire and do nothing all day with no purpose when he can be making $1 mil a day. Rich people will never step away from that, even if they’re due within a week. They’ll still go into the office even if they knew ahead of time. Unfortunately for us Dallas fans, Jerry will fall asleep on his desk, and then his son will take over and the cycle repeats. Kind of like how the socioeconomic gap grows larger from inherited wealth, nvm I’m in too deep now.

Al Davis had his flaws, but he is unquestionably responsible for building three super bowl winners and getting good coaches. It wasn't until the end of his life where he made some really bad choices.

I don't mind the Brian Schottenheimer hire. He's been around for decades, he's a veteran coach just breaking into the HC scene. The 2018-2020 seahawks had good offenses, the Rams were his worst years as an OC, but I give him the Jeff Fisher excuse. You're sat up for mediocrity with him.
I get why Jerry is the meme here, but I genuinely do think people are giving Brian a little too much grief for the coach he is
It just doesn’t feel like their first choice and being that it’s the most valuable franchise (allegedly) that’s not the message you want to send.

Idk why Brian is getting so much hate. He seems like a person who doesn't take up jobs he truly believes he can't do yet. In the past he was offered a couple of coaching positions and he declined all of them. He also played a key role in the Dallas cowboys offense playing lights lights out in Dak's MVP worthy season. Literally after the 49ers game Brian brought some things up to McCarthy and after that Dak had his best Season in his career he also gave Ceedee Lamb his best career year they both started clicking and popped off y'all needa realize this OC's and DC's aren't always gonna have Head coaching experience's i remember when everyone clowned Detroit for hiring Dan Campbell as their head coach 🤣🤣🤣

The Bears asked to speak with McCarthy and Jerry refused the request. I’m sure the Bears were gonna hire Johnson anyway, but that’s interest. Jerry knew he wasn’t keeping Mike yet strung him along until the jobs had dried up, so we don’t really know what the interest was in McCarthy.

Cowboys fan. I’ve accepted we will be mediocre until Jerry lets go of the reigns and honestly, even then I don’t expect much if the Jones family keeps the team.
Schotty is over ally going to be different than Mike, he already showing that with his staff hires which I must say are at the minimum B+ hires. It will just come down to if the front office is I’ll take the next step and help their coach or do the same. If they proceed to do the same we have to keep our fingers crossed he can overcome the Jones boys.

The Cowboys are not a "talented team". They are "talent deficient". They have a couple of outstanding players (Parsons, Cee Dee) but over-all? Meh. Dak is adequate and not the problem. They draft like garbage and don't develop those they do. They strike fear in the hearts of...nobody. Their a mid-tier team with a dumpster fire as an owner. They'll always get the pub because they're the Cowboys and Jerry will crave the limelight. ANY non-Cowboy homer sees this organization for what it is. And it's...not even under-whelming.
