Claude realized later that Maria has a crush on him since she met him first. She even called him babe once. And even at the radio station chatterbox 109 she was to hear on the radio talking about Claude. After the final mission maria confirmed her love to him and Claude might killed her so that she won't annoy him anymore by becoming a couple.
I checked statistics after final mission. When you shot down heli, 2 people died: Catalina and the pilot. After credits… nothing changed. Statistics wasted by you and wasted by another didn’t change.
Chunky Lee is very easy to kill. You just need a sniper rifle and you can actually get it by getting at least 80 hidden packages. To get them you can use the tunnel glitch to travel across the city. Once you're at Staunton Island, go hunt down as many hidden packages as you can

Getting 80 hidden packages is very time-consuming and not really "easy". The mission already is easy.

I would use the unlock all weapons cheat code and just shoot the noodles stand with the bazooka.
If u destroy his vehicle beforehand you can place a car their with a bomb activated in it and u don't have to chase him afterwards
I put a bomb in his car. Then I fired a few rounds near him to get him to flee. He ended blowing himself up.
