Thank you! I’m so happy my videos have been helpful! TH-cam and other Homeschool moms were such a big help to me when I started homeschooling (and still are), so I’m glad to be able to pay it forward! 🥰
It won’t let me comment under your response, but in terms of the trello… it’s super easy! You go to the three dots in the right upper corner and go down to visibility. I currently use it for ONE class, but doing it all together for everything would be so great!
Hello! Love you video, on the elementary checklist at the beginning where did you get that checklist to ensure everything they are learning is getting mastered through the year? I would love to print something like this off for this year ❤
Thank you! I think the check list you are talking about is the one from Elemental Science and its a free print out! It's called their "Checklists for Success" on their Free Printable + Games Page: elementalscience.com/collections/free-printable-games
It was actually a resource shared on the Ambleside Online Facebook Group by one of the members! If you join the group you have access to it in the files! 🥰
I always thought That when you did a reading log, you just notated the book when you finished reading it. You’re doing it as you go along and that might not be necessary
I don’t think there is a wrong or right way to do a reading log - just what works for your family. We have done it both ways, being more detailed last year helped me feel better and more confident about what we were doing since I was a first time homeschooling mom 🥰. This year I am doing more of what you mentioned and just notating we read the book (not exactly what chapter on what date).

@@jaimewolf9036 Oh that’s the Year 1 Term 1 Ambleside Online curriculum schedule that you can find on their website! 🥰 I downloaded it for free as a Doc and then edited it to put our other curriculum in it!
It was included in the files section of the AmblesideOnline Facebook group! Since it’s someone else’s personal creation I didn’t feel comfortable linking to it, but if you join the ASO Facebook group yo y will have access to it! 🥰
Also, we’re doing so much of the same curriculum for your second graders, are you able to share your trello board so I can get an idea of how you set it up?
I've actually thought about doing that to make it easier for others! I just have to figure out how to share it! I am planning on filming an updated "Plan with Me in Trello" video this week (hopefully posting next week), and I'll share my Trello board in that video description if I figure out how to do it! lol
The girls loved it! The classic starts version is abridged so it’s easier to understand at 4 and 6 years old, but it still used some elevated vocabulary that they were able to learn. It also only covers the girls early years (up to Megs marriage), so the heavy topic of Beth’s death is not covered, which is good for more sensitive learners.
i've gotten so many great ideas from your channel--you've been a big help for me! thanks for keeping your videos concise!

@@MaryBarfield what about the quick pick crafts page. I have been looking for that and can not find.
Nevermind I read in another comment where you found it. Thank you!
Hi, Where would I be able to find the handcraft idea list you showed? Thanks

Great ideas! Where did you find the Math with Confidence tracker?
Thank you! I’m fairly certain I got it from the Math With Confidence Facebook group. People will upload files to the group for everyone to use! 🥰

Oh I love that elemental science has a “what should you know”. Do they offer this without purchasing their curriculum??

Mary, can you possibly share your template for your week tracker? It would save me a ton of time to copy and fill in.
Sure! Are you talking about the beige curriculum tracker sheets that I created in Canva?

@@MaryBarfield THANK YOU!
Nice video! Very informative. I need that gold binder in my life. Where did you find it? I don't see a link.
Thank you! Unfortunately the binder is an oldie but a goodie! I got it at staples probably 6-8 years ago 🥴
