Having spent a substantial amount on acquiring new claims, Parker is forced to construct a 110-ton "Frankendozer" out of spare parts so he can assist his crew in clearing a claim quickly. Time is running out and they need to get sluicing to secure as much gold as possible this season.

the fake noises of the tracks, engine and such always get me
One time they added ratchet noises when the mechaninc was using a botle jack that got me rolling
the cranking sounded like a briggs and straton lawn mower lol
When office desk jockey Nike/Le Tigre Wearing Producers think they're Mechanical
I swear every video i watch hes on the verge of going bankrupt if he doesnt find x amount of gold
thats just the hook... its like the curse of oak island " could it be that..... "
But how does bankrupt take his denial of homosexual special rights to the gold placer ?
He's no freeking mexican !
He is because he's trying to recoup the money from the down payment and then also be able to pay his workforce and fuel.... Like the 3rd episode parkers teams not even in the episode and I think it's because they probably made little to no money and he refused to let them show the team stressed about it.
That's business lol
This is one of reasons I quit watching this show.
Love how Discovery makes everything like the FIRST TIME EVER! lol
It's truly not what i would consider a Frankendozer since everything used is off D11's. Also they didn't overhaul it they just reassembled it using parts from all 3 which was all on stands so it wouldn't have been as big a deal as you think.
It's put together with parts from other dozers... not new parts or necessarily the same part from the dozer thats working now. Stop being dramatic
@jimmyehrhardt7019 drama queen
It's literally a frakendozer because it's slapped together using parts from different machines lol
That's like saying most Subaru are Frankensubarus cause they have transmissions, and suspension, and engines, and interior from other Subarus.
Yall the ones being dramatic.
Yall have no clue what true Frankenstein machinery looks like. This video was totally clickbait.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure Frankenstein's monster was made using all human parts... 😅
Parker has gone from being a gold miner to a corporate guy.
Buying that land is one of the best things the kid has ever done ! Grandpa is so proud ! And damn Mitch is the man !!I remember his first season in the Jungle lol
Mitch started way back in season 2 with Todd Hoffman
@@farmerrobert5978 it was season 3 replacing their old sick mechanic
Can do without the added fake drama. They do enough cool stuff to keep it interesting.
ie: they had the dozer running in reverse to re-track it then they pretend like it won’t start the next minute. The spares laying around are good planning, not a coincidence.
And through the magic of editing. You can build a D11 IN a matter of minutes.
I think it's called entertainment. I grew up in a grading/excavating family and you would not want to see fabricating in real time.
I built one yesterday out of scrap from the dumpster on my lunch break while eating a ham sandwich.
We’re really suppose to believe they did all that work before even seeing if it runs! Come on discovery I know half the muppets that watch this show don’t know anything but make it believable for those of us that do!
Yes they did, And they did it all in between commercial breaks on tv!😅
Well now they rebuild very fast
I agree. That is not a wreck they just decided to get going one afternoon. They had already spent considerable time and money on it. From 2:55 onwards you can see a lot of new hoses, filters, P-clams, test ports, harnesses, rollers and seals. The equaliser bar looks to have a new bearing fitted to it at least, if not line bored, and I do not believe for one second the pivot shaft at 3:10 has been out in the open for very long. Anyone who works on this gear knows actually fitting the track frames, tracks and a blade to a tractor is a lot easier and a less time consuming than all the small work that has obviously been done.
Well who builds a damn bulldozer to avoid bankruptcy. That’s the dumbest title I’ve ever heard in my life.
What is it exactly that you know that makes you an expert?
I’m retired from CAT
Fixing stuff lol
I love guys like Parker
I love mining
I love forestry
I love construction
Now I love my sailboat in the carribean
Thank you CAT and those that know it’s the best 😂
I feel like we're watching a documentary about the villains in a Disney cartoon
That's no frankendozer, it's just a D11 built from 3 D11 dozers.
Frankenstein's monster was also build from different human parts.
@@McGillus😂😂 when you replace parts on your car… is it a frankencar?
@@zanelance-hardman4826 That is the great question. Plutarch would be proud of us.
That's SOP here in the coal mines of eastern Kentucky.
No way was that dozer assembled in a few days. Minimum of 1 week. Most likely closer to 2 weeks. Possibly 3 weeks or longer depending on how hard to disassemble the usable components from the "doner" dozers and what needed fixing.
But this is the "hollywood" version
If you don't need all the bells and whistles you can the difference between corporate companies and owners properties
Especially as rhe built it basixly in a field.not a workshop
It may have taken time to assemble the parts if they weren't already there
@@Bennie32831 I've been involved in a field rebuild of a dozer as the decision was to rebuild vs replace. Taking things apart, and putting things together in the field takes a lot of time (even in a shop they take time - its just better working conditions and an overhead crane speeds things up). Then you have to add the time required to fix or replace "minor" things as there was a reason those 3 dozers were parked.
In our case it took about 4 weeks as we pulled the engine and transmission and had them rebuilt offsite, and replaced all the hoses and a variety of other things (including putting in a modern seat for the driver - which they loved as it was a great improvement).
I stand on my statement above. No way were all those assemblies already disassembled and in good working shape. They had to be taken off he doner and any repair work done (bearings being the most likely for the track drive/guide assembly - at a minimum you must check all the bearings before reuse - and its likely some of them were not in pristine condition and replaced).
@@perryallan3524 Yeah you're not gonna find a trashed machine with a perfect track assembly or one with a perfect frame motor and trashed tracks .All three donors were probably equally beat up.
I think Parker feeds off his own doubt! It drives him.😊
5:20 Third time is still the charm!
When ya got good mechanics you can do just about anything 👍👍
It’s easy to bolt stuff together
They hyped that up a little with extra drama.
Let's not go into bankruptcy, by spending more money! 😂
Gold Rush needs more drama! Come on Discovery you can do more. Frankendozer give me a break this isn't the first time this has ever been done, just the first time anyone has ever called it Frankendozer for affect.
4:35 love the hat ❤
Mitch got the 3 in dozer sorted but the 🇮🇪 lad got thrown on it 🤷🏼♂️😂
Cork i recon.
That gold is CLEEEEAN!!
Parker at the end of the season you said "That was an amazing decision!
Oh to be rich enough to keep two D11 in diesel :D
Their gold always looks so pretty. Mine is always gold with bits of black sand mixed in........lol
Can someone tell me what typelocatie glasses Jordan and bill are wearing ?
Interesting , Thank You .
Good to see the D11R in action.
When a reality show tries to merge McGuyver and the A-Team
I'd be curious to see what these clowns have for a reclamation plan, LMFAO.
Man I love machinery but it's also heartbreaking to see so much destruction being done to extract a tiny amount of resource. I understand the economics of it but that doesn't make it a good thing
did you know parkers Big Red was built through madden steel who use 2EZ electric all based in CO.
Insane pace of fucking up beautiful nature!
U know it's real when the millionaire himself out there working 💪 👷♂️
Aint these machines design to push maximum dirt anyway??💪💪👍
those tracks are shot lol
I think with some steel plates and a welder and that thing would be unstoppable
How did they end up with 2 d11’s 😂
Its just a D11 built from parts.
Its not Frankendozer, its just like you're getting organ donor from your twin siblings.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 for you and your crew PARKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damien sounds like Cork man
In the beginning 20 years ago working with his grandpa john they were happy with a couple of thousands now 6 million it's a start.
As someone in quarrying . This shit makes me laugh . Everything is a big drama
Keep up the good work 🤛😊
I wonder how many workers take a little nugget
You honestly can’t really kill a d11 😂

I don't understand why he doesn't get a real time saver and money making dozer like the Letorneau D575 easier to work on has the lift and carry blade where the baby D11 only pushes material
The sponsor of the show sells construction equipment, so no mining operations are shown using mining grade equipment
Do you always talk out of your ass?
Right. If these folks are on the brink of bankruptcy, I've got a bridge for sale.
He needs one of the Australian D12s
No such thing
@@Bigsoot7393 kinda. Cat don’t make the d12. Google Mearns hire. They modified a d11 and call it a d12. The d12 has an 3512B engine (1250 hp), upgraded torque converter plus. It’s been lengthened.
@@hamishbracey5411 nice, now that sounds like a frankendozer not this d11 made up of d11 parts haha
@@hamishbracey5411Don Mearns is a nice bloke, I have spoken to him and been to his workshop. He showed me two D11s' at the back of his shed that he is planning to join together (side by side) into some super double D11.
How is it I cant throw a wrapper on the ground but our pristine Alaska can be plowed up,
Commiefornia thats why
Lol they have to restore the environment when they are done planting trees, recreating the terrain, restoration of streams/creeks
Why do you want to? WTF is wrong with you?
So weird hearing someone else's voice over on the show
He ain’t going bankrupt 😂. Not a frankendozer when they are all the same. What drama for clueless people
So in other words they replaced the undercarriage all from d11 parts come on that ain’t no franklin dozers, just normal maintenance
Man. About to go bankrupt after mommy daddy and grandpa gave you everything.
Ah, this is done all the time.
Im amazed it could push any5hing, the state those grouser plates were in.....
Why do they keep calculating the golds worth based on pure 99 .9999% gold? that gold is only about 80% not to mention the cost in getting it to the refiner and all the middle men BS
I want to see the security personnel that they are hiding from the cameras
How does park stay safe with all that gold on site
Makes me wonder how Parker keeps an eye on the clean ups?
Pretty easy to tax a bit of the gold rich concentrates before it's processed...
That's all and respect for sure
cameras exist
@@ski6712 I'm sure he'd be using cameras but there'd be plenty of ways to take a bit here and there.
I'm sure he'd be relying mostly on a trust basis and it would be well understood what would happen if any funny buggers happened.
it'S a trust base, and i think the old guy that handles the cleaning is partner or somethign like this. you don't wonna mess aroudn and risc that awesome job for a few nuggets. if youi get cought, you never get a job in the industrie again

That's an everyday thing in the Pennsylvania coal fields lol
Wyoming too
He didn't build it, he modified it
a komatsu 355 will do the best be sure to put a better radiator on in. in advance
This was an old episode.
I miss GRANDPA JOHN.😟😟😟😟
🤣 so it’s a D11
Do they ever service these dozers ?they should last a long time if so.and not so wore out.
There is now way 2 of them got all that put together in a week or 2
Everyone says it's not possible but i dont think the keyboardwarriors have any idea how innovative theese guys are compared to a reg mechanic. He has all that he need in the shop while theese guys have to invent and make their own sollutions but they still get it done....
Slapping a D11 together like that is not that hard. I have done it so I do have an idea. They are not rebuilding it as such, just making a complete one out of what they have, although they appear to have line bored the equaliser bar and fitted some new rollers etc. You don't really need any special equipment except something to lift the track frame with and some kind of a torque multiplier or a norbar to torque the master link bolts up. Everything else a decent heavy diesel fitter or owner should have.
The amount of Land destroyed doing this is shocking.
What a load of bullcrapp
I wonder how many of them guys skim from that gold
How does homosexual special rights cause skimming ?
They're no illegal mexicans !
Parker got over on it where it then got maybe set something for you over now? How did the Penske porn Cobb get first fit timed?
Bankruptcy 🤣. This guy is a multi multi millionaire
Boys playing in dirt with big toys! Making money too!
They are so dramatic. "Before bankruptcy". Like that's true. This dude probably got so good of credit they will give him anything. The statement he will be bankrupt is Ludacris; and most of you probably do not bat an eye at it
Glad to less Volvo's on the show 😅
Its not a fucking Franken dozer....its a d11 made put together with d11 parts from 2 other d fucking 11s
They could sell that to todd hoffman for 2.5 million in promised gold
So.. now he has two D11R's and one D11T dozer? Did he keep all the D10T's and D10T2's?? So he has like 8 to 10 dozers right now 😂
I still have to wait some months till the new season will be streamed in Germany, but I alwas get theese Discovery videos which I actually don't want to watch because I want to wait to the to the whole season on TV.. 😂
IT'S ALLIIVE!!!! IIIITTSSS AALLLLLIIIIIIVEEEE!!!!!
It appears all these Discovery shows are blatant drama where everything is on a ridiculous schedule and self made breakdowns to ensure even more drama
So that nerd parker is almost broke again. Lol. Oh boy.
It is shocking how so few guys can totally destroy such a large track of land. Man can be so destructive. I am sure that if Parker packs up today he will have enough money to live the remainder of his life in luxury. Same theme every episode - if we don't get gold now, we are bankrupt. Its a shame that this level of destruction is acceptable.
The dude stops grading on the D6 to drive to the other site to ask his boss for a D11. Is your cell phone or radio broken? You better keep cutting and learn how to communicate more efficiently or have that conversation after work.
what an old, old video - poor parker, he is not making any money, or NOT!!🤣🤣
Cool machines, the storyline, the dubbed in sounds and the voiceover guy, good lord that just ruins it.
So much drama from this show.He has years of making millions off that land he bought. He went over the numbers with his dad and knows this $$$
He has a net worth of 8 million. I think he'll be okay.
And they say bitcoin mining takes to much energy and is bad for the environment lol … makes total sense right
Phony
Holy shit land is destroyed 😢
It was not to stave off bankruptcy try watching the show
I'm so over discoveries manufactured drama. Just show us men working hard at a job. That would be entertaining enough, not adding all that bs in
Who reclaims all the lands destroyed by these mining operations?
Reclamation is a major part of what they do. In most cases the areas come back better than what they were before they were touched.
He can smoke a sigar under the shower.
