I don't have words to express my admiration for the legendary Elias Melka. I began following his incredible work during my 11th grade. At that time, he released a classic composition for Gosaye Tesfaye and Alemayehu Herpo. From that moment, I continued to appreciate his work until his recent passing. To be honest, I doubt I will ever find a composer at his level because he dedicated his life to music. The lyrics, songs, and music compositions he created were astonishing. More importantly, each piece was a new form of art and philosophy in itself. I am deeply saddened by his unexpected death. I had hoped to meet him one day and express that I am a lifelong fan of his artistry and music. God knows all. May his soul rest in the hands of Abraham. Amen!
