- In the Tall Grass is a 2019 Canadian film written and directed by Vincenzo Natali and starring Patrick Wilson. It is based on Stephen King and Joe Hill's 2012 novella of the same name.
The film had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 20, 2019. It was later released on October 4, 2019, by Netflix.

Since becky didn't come inside the grass, Travis will never come looking for them, so he'll never get lost inside, so he won't call Tobin for help, that's why Tobin won't call her either, and this is how the loop is broken, they escaped the loop

One question- Toby in the beginning has already touched the rock... How is he able to leave the tall grasses.. or did I miss anything?🤔
I think Travis touching the rock may have traded his soul to free TobinBecky and Calye
When we see cal throwing Travis from the balcony, he was supposed to die and he may have died everytime, so when we see Travis survived the fall by landing on the bodies of his from the previous scenarios, that act as a cushion for him and saved his life, so he was able to trace Becky before she died and he was able to defend Tobin from touching the rock by his father and he was able to kill Ross, which may have created disfunction in the loop, because Tobin was supposed to be corrupted by the the rock and then mislead the upcoming Cal, Becky and Travis, and Travis was supposed to be dead by the fall, and he wasn't meant to touch the Rock , which he did at the end, and helped Tobin out the Tall grass...As for Ross, he was a sneaky, greedy businesses man , and he thirst power so the effect of the rock on him made him a complete murderer and as for Travis, he realised his mistakes and tried to reconcile with Becky and wanted the child as well, so the power of love dominant the power of the Rock, that's why he was able to make the correct decision...And as for the Ending i believed that Travis died at the end and he won't came back to life in the tall grass, and as for his life in the outside World, i believe he would be alive, and will reconcile with Becky there...As for Tobin (the one in the end who was calling Becky and Cal back in the Tall grass) i can't say anything about that as it is an open ending, so i would like to discuss any possibilities here...

Ikr.. Travis says you do not deserve to be here and shifts him in to church. I felt that he is still an innocent child so he was able to get out with help of someone who also touched the stone.

He was trapped until Travis basically had an emotional reconnection to Becky and her baby in the end and Travis managed to kill Ross and prevent him from making Tobin touch the rock. Probably made it easier resisting the rock's dark powers after that aswell

If the grass peoples were humans who came first and lived there for forever and by evolving and evolving they turned into grass people.
Your channel gave enough information but I found you were wrong at some points. When Becky and Cal jumps to find each other. First, they find each other close but the second time they seem pretty far. You'd also hear Becky saying to Cal to stop moving as his voice sounds deceptive.
Second proof is, the Church moved too and Sun moved when the Travis noticed it.
Also, Cal threw Travis down coz he never wanted any boy in Becky's life as he was more caring and concerned for her sister. His Over Brotherly love and possessiveness was suffocating Becky...

Okay so people who don't know really about this...it is all connected to the dark tower series. So the black rock or stone can signify the dark tower center of all, just like dark tower , so the dark tower is connecting all the alternate world's to a balance of anything was supposed to happen to the tower the demon would cross the barrier and live on the worlds (all hail crimson king) . The tall grass is also known as the Bad grass. The Bad Grass is located north of the village of Hambry in the Barony of Mejis.
It is a place covered with a forest of poisonous grass so tall it makes navigating the area very difficult. It's a whole wide universe that Stephen King has created it will be very confusing for the non readers to understand the movie other wise. Though it will seem very interesting to watch understanding each and every Easter egg like the bowling alley scene is very difficult .
