I got this when I was young, and was told they would come out on their own. But after 10ish years they never did, and water always gets in my head. Eventually I got them removed.. But now I'm a professional scuba diver, and my head is always full of water and ears throbbing (maybe hearing my heart beat). I'm wondering if there is still a hole from the tubes that is letting water in.
PLEASE READ IF AFRAID VERY DETAILED Hope this helps I am a 22-year-old female who just got tubes placed in both my ears yesterday. I was put under anesthesia and surgery was performed I took medication before I left the hospital and when I got home I was sleep until around 8pm once I woke up and the meds wore off the pain was MASSIVE PAIN I had a very bad headache and my ears also my lymph nodes (from bottom of my ear to the middle of my throat) were also in a lot of pain I kept getting hot out of the blue and felt like my head was being smashed between two trains and I’m not even exaggerating a little. Today is day two and I’m feeling a little bit better still very nauseous and can’t eat much but it’s not as bad as yesterday I started taking Tylenol rapid release I took five 500 mg and started doing my ear drops. It’s 4 drops in each ear twice a day. I’m feeling very big difference as far as the pressure in my ears and the terrible migraines. Also another thing every time I burp or hiccup it feels like I am about to bust my ear drums 😭😂. From time to time my ears pop open and its like I can hear a needle drop but it’s stops back up. before I couldn’t hear anything at so it’s already going very good in the right direction I know soon my hearing will completely return. I hope this really helps someone!!!!!! They surgery it’s self is not bad I don’t even remember being rolled back 😂 I just remember waking up and crying telling the pregnant nurse how good of a mother she is going to be then passing out once again before being released.
Lol the last sentence 🤣😂 thank you. I'm having this dec 16th and I wanted to know what to expect. Mine is more invasive he said because my ear drum is sucked all the way in. So I hope it doesn't hurt to bad. Thanks for the heads up I really appreciate it! God bless you ❤🙏
why did you have surgery with anesthesia? Im 50 and have had ear tubes put in several times right in my Drs Office? I have had the temp ones put in about 6 times from 3 diff Drs right in the office? It took 5 min an ear. numbed up my ear drum and walked out in an hour and drove home. I just had longer T Tubes put in on the 2nd of this month to last longer....right in the office. These are worse than the temp ones and my ear sound is muffled and it has hurt since. They said it should get better as time goes on.
@@Motivational-2612 yes!!! I couldn’t hear out of my left ear at all. Then like a week after I had tubes put in it would pop in and out then one day it just popped and stayed open every since.

Dr. - I am 33 Years old, been seeing an ENT for a year for Eustachian Tube Disfunction, After no success of minor treatments he decided i should get Ear Tubes placed in, they fall out 6-12 months. It is really driving me crazy how muffled my hearing is currenty and wish I could go back to how my hearing was before the ear tubes were installed ?? Please Help (My ENT recommended to leave them in despite how badly im suffering)???
Hello did you ever get tubes out? and did you ever get better? and if so how long did it take. I had ear tubes put in a month ago, but my ear is still clogged and I can't pick up low/bass frequencies.
Hi doctor. I got my groomet surgery done on feb14 2024. Few months u felt better. Now again since a week i feel my ears are clogged inside filled with fluid and i feel like blowing my nose hard to breathe air out of my ear. What do i do hear?
ive been surfing and got hit by another surfer on my right ear, when i was 15. since that day i had yellow stinky fluid coming out of my ear then me and my parents rushed to the hospital and the stick bandage that caused HELL of a PAIN, the same day after a hour i took it off due to sharp pain, since then i have right ear clogged and everytime i need to hear better i need to close my nose and blow air to make pressure inside the ear to hear better, and every time i swallow or yawn it gets clogged again, ive been doing that for over 3 years and i got tired and want a surgery but my doctor says Allergic Treatment and Nasal Decongestion needed first. i dont want this waste of time i want surgery!!! please if anyone have simmiliar problem now or in the past i would more than happy to hear suggestions.
Hello,I have same problems that what you had.am getting depressed because of it. i want you to give details of your condition now.what did you do to get rid of it.if you tell me i will be very happy than ever thank you
I had a decent case of a middle ear infection with pus and everything in high school and it caused partial hearing loss and dull pain as well .. and you know what eventually happened? A natural myringotomy, haha. My eardrum burst while running in PE and my infection cleared up after going to the doctor for one more round of antibiotics. I have no idea why the doctor didnt just cut and suck out the stuff before I had 3 weeks of partial hearing loss and constant pain.. that loud ass POP noise and the pus coming out of my ear was so nice
@@Motivational-2612 i had this for a few weeks and my eardrum got so pressurized it popped a small hole in itself. i would recommend finding a doctor to do a t tube surgery if its a consistent problem for you. once the pus comes out you are completely relieved and the infection goes away way easier because the eardrops can work now on the middle ear itself.
hello Doctor, i hope your doing great. I just want to ask. My baby he is 15 months old, and he had this tube surgery in his both ears because he had constant ear infection. After one month of surgery, the doctor told me that in his left ear the tube was lost. is it normal? and the the right ear, one morning it has blood comes out but not a lot maybe like 2 drops, Im so worried about it. And its not so easy to take or go to the doctor to check him thats why i write here to know about it. Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

Just had mine done yesterday to my left ear. I’m 40. The day after it was done I find it more muzzled and hard of hearing. After they poked a hole before putting the tub in I experienced hearing super clear. I’m taking Tylenol as I have slight pain. I’m really curious if this will help. My dr will do a follow up call in a week. I had this done because I couldn’t hear properly and couldn’t pop both my ears. I hear differently with both ears. Just my side
@@markanthonygallardo3971 I had it taken out after 10 days because I was getting sudden sharp pain. It also didn’t resolve the fullness in both my ears nor the pressure I’ve been experiencing so her and I are back to the drawing board.
