- बारामासा आपके लिए लाया है इस बार एक खास प्रोग्राम. जिसका नाम है 'निशां बाकी हैं'. निशां बाकी हैं के इस पहले एपिसोड में आज हम आपको ऐतिहासिक देहरादून मसूरी रेलवे प्रोजेक्ट की यात्रा करायेंगे. अब ये तो आप सभी को मालूम ही है कि ये प्रोजेक्ट कभी मुकम्मल जमीं पर उतर नहीं पाया था. लेकिन ये भी सच है कि इस प्रोजेक्ट का 40 फीसद काम भी पूरा हो चुका था. जिसमें रेलवे लाइन का सर्वे, रेलवे स्टेशन और प्रमुख स्टोपेज के साथ ही टनल का निर्माण लगभग पूरा होने ही वाला था. जब भी कोई दून मसूरी रेलवे लाइन की बात करता है तो आपके जेहन में वो ही टनल की पिक्चर आती होगी, जो राजपुर से थोड़ा उपर मसूरी की तरफ पैदल चलने पर प्रसि़द्ध किपलिंग टेल दिखता है. लेकिन आज हम आपको उन सभी निर्माण की यात्रायें करायेंगे, जो इस ऐतिहासिक रेलवे लाइन के लिये बन चुके थे.

अन्ग्रेज भारत मे होते तो पहाडो का विकाश होता अब तो निराशा ही है रिषिकेष कर्णप्रयाग रेल का सपना भी सतपाल महाराज की कृपा है सारे रिजनैतिक पारटिया उस समय बिरोध कर रहे थे
Railway line was also there where there is now pacific mall. But due to massive road construction these railway are now not visible... These railway lines were visible till 60's and 70's
Very true, there was an excavation for a water pipeline in front of Odeon Cinema on Rajpur Road in the early 70s and well laid out tracks were seen under the excavation site!

During Summer vacations, in my childhood, we friends used to trek from Rajpur Road to Mussoorie . Those are precious memories. It was a shortcut to Mussoorie. How many of you have done this trekking? Ghantaghar abhi bhi waisa hi hai ... .. kya Gandhi Park main abhi bhi colorful Gulmohur ke trees hain?

Wonderful lovely marvelous images and pictures and excellent coverage and specially showing the tunnel and unfinished work. You covered very well actually the outer portion of mountain was week and it COLLAPSED there are remains of The next tunnel in between where the mountain had collapsed so the projected was suspended and OAK GROVE SCHOOL came into existence in the year 1888. Appreciate your great efforts young lady wishing you good luck and success God bless.
