It's funny that two twins will have separate birthdays. It can happen, if a labor goes well into the night and into the morning of the next day. The pentagon was made because there are (was) 5 branches in the US military. Army, Air force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. Recently the Space Force was also added. Now I want them to make it a hexagon.
There was no airforce in 1941, there was only the army's air corp. The Marines are still a Navy corp (hense the word "marine"), the original main role of marines was bording enemy ships and beach landings, basically all of the direct-combat roles of the navy, while navy sailors operated the actual ships [inc ships guns].
@TheDuckofDoom. While the marines do work with the navy very closely they are two separate teams. I know of someone who became a marine & they training is all marines till later on if I remember right.

Also, the Navy is the only constitutional military force maintained in peacetime. A standing army is not to be maintained for more than 2 years in peacetime.

Yes, you were correct. The world trade center was 2 buildings. WTC Building 1 & 2. There were 7 WTC in the vicinity, 2 were direct hits, others were damaged or destroyed by residual damage. The 3rd building was the Pentagon at one of there walls. The Pentagon is massive & one of the largest in Washington DC. The size will be outdone by the newly planned FBI building. You should one day visit or look up the Apple building. It's a 64 acre (1.2million square feet) ring building.

Planets were named after Roman(except one) Gods. They are better know by their Greek equivalents though... Mercury=Hermes, Venus=Aphrodite, Mars=Ares, Jupiter=Zues, Saturn=Kronos(Zues and his siblingd father) Neptune=Poseidon, and Pluto=Hades. Uranus is actually the Greek name of Kronos' father.

Mercury, herald and messenger to Roman gods, Venus Roman goddess of beauty and love, Mars Roman god of war, Jupiter king of Roman gods, Saturn, Roman god of agriculture, Uranus, Greek god of Sky, Neptune Roman god of the Sea. Pluto Roman god of underworld, (not really a planet though). Earth would have to be Gaia or Terra, and the moon would be Luna or Selene if we were consistent. The sun would be Sol or Helios.
The sun is Sol. The solar system is even named after it.
Science fiction stories use "Solarian".
The difference is that in stories where we've terraformed worlds like Mars, "Terran" is someone from Earth (Terra) specifically, while "Solarian" would include those from the terraformed worlds I the system.

Not true. The Pentagon was built in 1943 (construction began in 1941). The U.S. Air Force did not exist until 1947. It's predecessor was the Army Air Corps. The Coast Guard was part of the United States Treasury Department but during WW2 it was under control of the Department of Defense (called the War Department at that time). But the Coast Guard went back under control of the Treasury Department in 1946....and I think for awhile it was under the Department of Transportation but I'm not sure. The shape of the building had nothing to do with the number of DoD branches because now they would need a wing for the U.S. Space Command.

The "fact" about earth not being named after a god is wrong. In ancient Roman religion and mythology, Tellus Mater or Terra Mater ("Mother Earth") is the personification of the Earth. Although Tellus and Terra are hardly distinguishable during the Imperial era, Tellus was the name of the original earth goddess in the religious practices of the Republic or earlier.

Ok organ stealing I was researching urban myths and looked up the kidney one real life people in the middle east, don't remember where, would sign up for short term employment in construction and would have to do, among other things, a health check so the doctors would put them to sleep and then cut out their kidneys. Not sure on the organ harvesting thing... Depending on the organ, they only live outside the body for 2 to 48 hours. The person receiving the organ must be the same blood type and of similar weight, height and body style. Then you need surgeons and crew ready plus more. Do you really think people are just going around collecting organs?
I saw a story by a girl who has an older twin sister. She said her sister liked to say "What I was your age" and then tell me what she did 20 minutes ago. It's funny that two twins will have separate birthdays. It can happen, if a labor goes well into the night and into the morning of the next day. Some have even been separated by a year, one being born on the night of the last day of December, and the other being born on New Year's Day in the next year. I always find this so interesting :)

I have a couple of comments.
1. One time after going ocean fishing, I cut up some raw fish into tiny cubes for treats for my cats. I put them in small freezer bags so I could get just a few at a time for them. So I labeled each bag, "CATS", so we knew they were for the cats. Any guests going into my freezer may have wondered if we were eating cats!😂
2. In Connecticut we had twins born in different years. One was born just before midnight on 12/31/2023 and the other was born just after midnight on 01/01/2024, just a few minutes from each other.
