Docking a boat, at least for most people, isn't easy. Docking a sportfishing boat is even harder. But when you dock a sportfishing boat and only have INCHES of space to fit in the slip, that's when it gets interesting.
In this video, The Professor Ron Edwards walks us through his process of docking a sportfishing boat, as well as the mistakes many people often make when attempting to back into a slip at a marina.

Good job. Pilings are are friends. If you can get in without leaning on a piling great. but the reason we put rub railings on boats is to use them. If I can get the stern between the pilings, I'm in. lol

I grew up vacationing in Nags Head. We took a sport fisher out of Pirates Cove every summer. That was late 80’s-mid 90’s. It looks a might bit different these days.
