I remember the first time I heard them it was on head bangers ball. Enjoy the silence video was playing I was hooked after. It reminds me when hot topic had shirts for fat guys.
Brother I seen these guys in SOUNDWAVE in Sydney 2010.... The best and I liked them before going but that was insane and got too meet them later that day!!!
Joseph Nicolosi FUCK YES! I used to blast all of them back in the mid 2000s! They all deserved more recognition too! Still Remains The Worst Is Yet To Come was my jam.
A part of the tide that made modern metalcore great! This era is goat'd it only ages like fine wine. We just need some remasters in our life everything is 240/360p lol
SAME! Hahahahaha. Poison The Well, It Dies Today, Shai Hulud, Bleeding Through was on there I think. It was one of the best fucking mix CD's I have ever had. Orange and silver I think!
Saw these guys with Haste the Day, Flee the Seen, and Chiodos back in the summer of 2006. I miss those days (2003-2007) so much. I went to so many damn good shows.
I STILL listen to this album at least once a month since about 2006 when I first heard these guys. They have been very influential in my own music writing. Obviously my tastes in music have changed a bit as I lean more towards the heavier now (brand of sacrifice, shadow of intent), and I don’t listen to half the bands I used to, but It’s a testament to them standing the test of time.
This takes me back to some awesome times in my life. Just discovered metalcore by showing up to my cousins band practice and they had a style like this and the vocalist at the time wasn't there that night and the guitarist was just fuckin around and told me to get on the mic and do something and I'd practiced doing stuff like that on my own before but never in person and when i started doing my vocals along with what they were playing everything flowed and sounded perfect like I'd been doing it for way longer and they all looked at each other and said we gotta get him on vocals full time lol, I was so nervous but stoked and at that moment i fell in love with metalcore and joined the band and we all drove to st louis one night a few weeks later and saw it dies today and the chariot in a tiny ass club right when this album came out and it was the first time I'd ever gotten to see a band like this live and it was awesome. Wish things would have stayed together with my band cause we legitimately had a good following and had a sound like IDT and as i lay dying and had been talking to metalblade and victory about signing when we sent them a press kit and then schedules with some of the members jobs started getting in the way and led to 2 new members and after that everything went down hill for the next 3 years and ultimately fell apart. Truly some fun times though in my life that I'll never forget ❤
I was at that very show six years ago. Aiden was there too. My big, black "goth" boots literally fell apart on me and I endured the excruciation of moshing and rocking at the show barefoot. It was an amazing show. My friend was an even bigger fan of ITD and actually got to meet them after they preformed.

I love this band, a lot of memories with his music. I saw them, to many years ago in Santiago of Chile, in teatro Caupolican.
I know alot of you don't like the clean vocals, but I think that takes alot more talent and balls to prove that you can sing and that you can transition back and forth from screams to singing
I was going through all my childhood video tapes in the basement and I found this on an old compilation tape of IMF, anyone remember the international music feed? The channel doesn't exist anymore. It was basically MTV but it showed music videos from all around the world. one day you might get Japanese punk rock the next you might get Russian rap and Indian techno. This just happens to be one of the most Emo songs of the 2000s, Good Times.
Never bought any CD nor listened to any song by It Dies Today if anyone besides Nicholas Brooks was on vocals. I don't have any animosity towards the other guys singing or the band. I was just swooned by Nick's voice this first time I heard it on this exact song in 04? or 05? Back then it was Lamb of God. The best album ever to that point (Iowa). BTB&M But I've always had a great love for growl and harmony. Kittie had some beauts.
IIIt's the waaay she looks at me, and posses me to collect the head of anyone, Collect the head of those who look her way. IIIt's the waaaay her whispers seem to kiss my ears. I'd collect the heads of anyone, collect the heads of those graced by her VOICE!!!
i havnt heard this song for a veeeeeeeeeeeeery long time now... my music taste has changed loads to... and its still just as good as it was back then =]
Hey Man, Trustkill Is An Amazin Record Company,If Anything My Favorite. They Have All The Good Bands Like Terror,Too Pure To Die,Throwdown,Walls Of Jericho,It dies Today,Awaken Demons,Bleeding Through They Have Them All!
This sounds like as blood runs black had a baby with atreyu, but haste the day had some of their genes spliced into the baby and the baby of the three bands became it dies today.... killer stuff btw!
I still listen to The Caitiff Choir and I’m 32. These guys played a huge role in my life. Forever grateful
Same. Moved to Buffalo and married the bassist. Best decision of my life. I miss them playing music and touring so much.

Golden Age Metalcore \m/ IDT is criminally underrated and they put out 3 nearly flawless studio albums and a sick EP
💯
I miss walking home from school blasting this song on my iPod. 2004 and 5 ❤️
You walked home? Psh, nerd. Me and my friend rode home in his 1990 Civic with no power steering. Kings.
I'm nearly 40 years old, and this band is still one of the best bands I've ever come across in my lifetime. And yes, it's a banger in 2022!
Yeah I'm 34 and my mom used to tolerate it because it was a "phase" bu the chorus in this song tells me in ingrained in my heart.
A part of the tide that made modern metalcore great! This era is goat'd it only ages like fine wine. We just need some remasters in our life everything is 240/360p lol

I remember finding these guys on a trust kill demo CD back in the day. So good
SAME! Hahahahaha. Poison The Well, It Dies Today, Shai Hulud, Bleeding Through was on there I think. It was one of the best fucking mix CD's I have ever had. Orange and silver I think!
@@goddimmus if I’m thinking of the same demo, it also had Nora on there too. I remembering getting the demo from hot topic in like 04 or so.
Saw these guys with Haste the Day, Flee the Seen, and Chiodos back in the summer of 2006. I miss those days (2003-2007) so much. I went to so many damn good shows.
