This is a great one guys. Asia you said it but Aerosmith has a song called "Living on the Edge". Another fire song that will get you moving. I have asked before but you need to check out "Janie's got a Gun". It's a very deep song about a subject that nobody wants to talk about but Stevin Tyler and Joe Perry ( the lead guitarist) wrote the song and became a monster hit for the band. The video was great also.
This is one of my all-time favorite bands and has been since the 80s. Their video ragdoll at the end of the video he's driving down the street after leaving the girl's house, and as he's driving down the street all these other girls are coming out and waving at him. That street was Hamilton St. and that was in Johnson City, TN my hometown. And yes I was in the crowd just to get a look, 1st & only time skipping school. In the '80s our Civic auditorium was where so many Rock acts played from AC/DC to whitesnake to Cinderella to Aerosmith, and everyone in between. In that town I was constantly called an Uncle Tom pretty much my whole life because I like rock and roll. I was 8 years old when my older sister who was probably about 17 or 18 played on her little blue portable 45 player White wedding by Billy idol and I was hooked. I was constantly teased that's saying it lightly, I was constantly made fun of for liking rock music but from a young age my music was eclectic. I grew up listening to Motown, rock and roll, 60s music, and I was living in Tennessee so country was a staple. I love to weave my way through the music catalog of my mind singing all the different genres along the way. I am currently no longer in TN, but I still get strange shocked looks, it truly confounds me that in 2022 people still judge a book by their cover. Haven't we all learned yet that we're all just people?? That we all bleed the same color and pretty much want the same things. And that it's okay to have differences of opinions as long as those opinions don't oppress or hurt. Music has always been one of the things that pull different people from different backgrounds together. Maybe next year the human race will get it together and figure it out. There's my fantasy world LOL P.S. You all have a new subscriber in me, hit me up anytime you want to idea for a different music to listen to LOL just playing. Although Aerosmith song amazing if you listen to the lyrics it's beautiful this is his sobriety song. Sorry about my mini novel in your comment section

The beginning is missing from the song. There's a scene where an elevator attendant says, "Second floor. Hardware, children's ware, ladies lingerie... Oh, good morning Mr. Tyler. Going... down?" To which Mr. Tyler (lead singer) laughs and goes, "Oooh." Then the song starts. As far as love in an elevator... I worked at a corporate building that had an elevator with a stop switch, so you could get in the elevator and stop it anywhere, even between floors. My girlfriend (also my co-worker) and I would get in the elevator during breaks and, well, we are both card carrying members of the "Love In An Elevator" club. The song came out afterward, which we thought was hilarious.

Unpopular opinion: the Pump to Nine Lives era (1989-1997) was when Aerosmith put out its very best music. The older stuff was awesome too, but they put out a larger quantity of great songs after they got clean.

Jeez, you guys miss all the good stuff in the film clips, like at the start of the song when this hot lady in the elevator says "going down" in the most provocative way possible to the lead singer. Its something I never tire of seeing and made this song like 90% better than it is.
This song is embarrassing. Aerosmith in the 70's, before the drugs took their toll, was a hard-rocking, kick ass band. Years later, a stint in rehab and MTV birthed garbage like this.
