Yeah I agree it feels like it is missing something, also it just feels a bit lackluster in terms of the main gameplay. Like a bit basic and not too fun. I think if there was a screen where you could like move your mouse to stir a potion or something would be cool and I think that is what the game is missing, actually making the potions instead of just clicking to make it and then waiting a while. 5:46 instead of having it fill up automatically i think it should have a thing that helps you with clicking on it kinda like snapping thing that also follows the movement of the candies (like in doors)
Not sure on your editing process. However Since you have problems with copyright. I recommend you exporting your audio in two or three tracks. 1, game sounds music etc. 2, Microphone. 3, Anything else you would like. Now what you could do is just export the final render with the music and Semi Upload it on TH-cam to check if the copyright is detecting something. If so just go back into Davinci Resolve and mute Track 1. Render, Upload and its a success. Might have to spend some time to find background music but I bet you could do that with ease. I personally do this I its a great practice. You can find a tutorial how to separate audios in to tracks. Now if you already do separate them, then maybe you could try the rest of the idea. With all of the uploading bullshit. Alright have a nice day!
@@byStunt7 It doesn't take a lot more time, it takes a few extra minutes and can save him from having to scrap, rerecord or making weird cuts in videos.
@@momomon7662 Exporting a 10 minute video takes around 20 minutes for me, uploading it to youtube another 30 minutes... Makes almost a whole extra hour if he has to reupload because of copyrighted material
Looks good, but it indeed lacks a tutorial on first launch. I've also noticed in the video that it already counts down the timer, so that you are overwhelmed. If possible the dev could change that until a tutorial is finished, so that you have time to learn it. I would also add tutorials throughout the game for all the other elements, like the pets shop, the star shower etc
For me it's pretty clear the missing step in the gameplay loop is the potions recipes. Like you said he should add an auto-picker for the ingredients, but I'm pretty sure he did it this way so the players have the fun to choose their ingredients. The problem is that it dosent matter wich one you take despite their diversity. Pretty sure a good solution would be to create actual potion recipes that you could unlock one after the other saling for more and more money. Now choosing the ingredients you need would be fun, and the auto-picker could still be a game pass or a pet power.
