that’s now how mushrooms grow. growing mushrooms is a totally different process and you don’t need light for mushrooms

Aww this is cool. I remember we had one inside an old computer case when I was in high school. Deff didn't work well. This would have been so much better. If I didn't live in Colorado now I'd deff get one. I have no reason to need to grow my own anymore now that I can go to the tomato shop

Unfortunately it really isn't big enough to grow any "tomatoes". Growing a single plant in there would outgrow that box pretty quick. Especially using a DWC system. Plants explode in growth using this method.

could you probably fit small indicas in there. Some are crossbred to be small/compact. Or could be goood for making starters then transfer out
@D-Rock Anomaly you can use it to veg a couple plants but other than that your gonna run outta space relatively quick.
Although I seen what people are mostly growing in these :D I would love to have one for tomatoes and one for peppers.

I really like the channel because they are very versatile with what they teach
It would be a fun experiment to compare the nutrient content of tomatoes grown through this device and those grown through organic farming method. I know this is more of a show piece rather than for growing fruits or veggies for consumption, but hey it would be a fun experiment. I'm vouching for organic tomatoes to have far better nutrient content because nothing can replace the natural sunlight, fresh air etc.
These studies have long since been done and no, you are wrong.
hydroponics are always better for growing plants. UV lights can replace sunlight.

Still prefer a classic 2x4x7 with 2 6” carbon filters one for intake and outtake and you still save money for a higher quality led. Check out Timber grow light 3VL. All of this and your only spend $700-$800. Automate it yourself lol

We have had this type of growth chambers in our labs since many years now. The only new thing is that they are making it a bit more affordable. The phone connectivity is a useful feature though.

I am an experienced hydroponic/dwc cultivator. And I hate this expensive box so much, immediately see many problems and not to mention the price is absurd. If you’re at all interested in this type of thing, ignore this box and drive to your closest hydroponic store instead.

Awesome only a couple thousand dollars and a few weeks time I'll finally be able to have a few tomatoes

cool gadget, but if you're planning to grow more than one, its not optimal. Apartment folks would love it as they wouldnt normally have a land and many restrictions may apply.

Bruh like 10+ years ago they’ve had better alternatives than this lol. Far more versatile. Expandable. And half the price with more to offer. Oh and they weren’t shy about letting you know what products worked best for “certain plants”.
