dude please have a backup plan, never put all your eggs in one basket, especially if it’s a basket that requires as much luck as being a content creator does. Make sure this is not your only source of income
I agree, for sure, and that's why I'm looking into Fullsail. If this fails, I'll look into careers through my degree with them, I just really hope I can make this work.
@@SmogMon015 Fullsail isn't a source of income, its a very expensive private university. Unless your parents are fully supporting you, you are going to need a part time job to facilitate producing content and going to a university.
@@emerson7681 My parents are in fact supporting me with food and a space to live, yes, which I am extremely grateful for. Don't worry, I don't think money falls from trees and I plan on paying them back one day, I just have to truly do my best with this while I can. I'm staying optimistic with this and I'm working so that hopefully I get to the point where I can give back to my current community. However, should this start to look unrealistic I am looking into jobs both in local tech stores and with TAIT Towers. This is my dream and it is what I truly hope to do with support from all of you, but I am prepared for my dream to be nothing more than a dream. That is, sadly, reality.
Also, just wanted to say thank you for the reminder and for your concern, genuinely. I am glad to see that there are people like you two keeping an eye out for people like me and making sure I don't put myself in a bad position. I will try my best to keep myself safe.
@@SmogMon015 I am glad to hear that, and I doubt your parents will want you to pay you back for housing and feeding you, that is their job and one day you will be taking care of them in a similar way. Its the circle of (human) life. Both of the more entry level jobs you listed are very good backup options too. I looked through your channel though and you have multiple videos with really strong view counts, but they are kind of overrun with stream highlights and more filler type content. I would suggest making a seperate channel for highlights and stuff like that, and having a more focused channel for more highely edited content (like the video essays you mentioned) or stuff you know is going to be interesting for a larger audience. With that said though, you are obviously very motivated so I am sure you will figure something out that works regardless of what you end up doing. Goodluck!
Really looking forward to seeing how you grow! Keep grinding my guy!
1:47 yea dude that shit sucks, the at home courses im taking are so much better and are actually helping me with career stuff
