I met Bette Midler once. It was at promotional event in Houston for her then-new CD, _Bathhouse Betty,_ which she autographed.
Myself and a friend went there after work and stood in line for hours. She'd signed so many autographs by then that her hand was cramped.
She spoke with us for about ten minutes, maybe to give her hand a rest as well, but she genuinely seemed to enjoy our company. What a delightful lady! Tiny little thing, too. I asked her if she had sit on phone books to reach the table. She just giggled. 😂
I wonder if Bette could hear the traffic below. But wow … what a place. I live in Brooklyn in a one room basement apartment and that is all I need.
I've always wanted to visit the Metropolim Museum of Art.

always happens to older, middle aged singers & actors ..they don't make money like their hey days or get any request & invitation around , thats why end up selling their properties & asset in older age , is expensive to hold on to them & taxes every year that's normal to end up selling

And she's worth $250,000 million you don't think she hasn't invested her money anywhere? Your'e just talking to hear yourself. She probably still has royalties.

Me too! Always disappointed to see the same old photos over and over.
House tours longer than 25 mins drive me crazy. I love the house tours but I get annoyed with the people who try to fill an hour touring their studio apartment. Even a large home that takes an hour to tour is bothersome. No matter the size of the home, the video tour of the house should never be longer than 25 mins to 35 mins because after that I lose interest.
As for the vampire slayer videos like this one, my eternal optimism guides my click and as the video begins I’m happy still believing I’m watching a house tour video.
And then I hear it … her voice . I instantly feel duped and disappointed.

I'm a huge fan of Bette, but I live in NYC and the property tax is too high regularly. If she had not renovated so much and kept it close to the original 5-10 million range, she could have more buyers. However in to 50 million + all the property tax+all the inspections/permits, she can really only sell to billionaires.
Can you imagine the monthly maintenance on the co-op?

I give you an e for effort but it got boring halfway through, (and I love Bette Midler and met her twice) too repetitive and you keep showing yourself too much. Just some well-intended critique.
These are really generic clips that the vampire slayer uses and yet she depicts herself as and expert and insider. Same photos over and over and over. Nothing new. In fact old news repackaged.
