    I first visited palolem 30 years ago, I was staying at Colva Beach, 3 years had to keep leaving to renew visa, anyway Palolem was empty no shops or bars on the road to the beach, and only one bar shack on the beach entrance. It was in fact paradise, went back 1999 didn't recognise the place far to busy and commercial, and price's in all Goa had risen however Goa compared to the rest of India is calm, peaceful ect, Yes I would go back to Goa but remember you must try the rest of India it'll be a culture shock.

      Thanks for your comments. When I think of the places I traveled to 30 years ago I often think I would be so disappointed if I went back. I spent 5 months traveling around India on this trip and am certainly intrigued to go see more. Overall, Kerala was my favorite place.

    Thank you for posting such a beautiful video. South Goa is so much nicer than the North these days. Unfortunately the North has been spoilt with so much Indian Tourism, water sports & jet ski’s etc.

    You have come to goa at peak season. Oct to feb, that's why it's expensive. Check out the rates in March, it will be much cheaper

    u should have checked Patnem! how could u miss that? u were so near.. jus next to palolem is Patnem, less of locals and more premium than agonda.. great sunsets.. also butterfly is a small beach worth a visit.. u should check it out next time.. u can see it on maps for now..

    • @Farawaynow

      Thanks for the tips! We did go to butterfly, it was extremely crowded the day we went with so many tour boats carrying a very large group so we didn’t end up including it the video. Thanks for watching.

    • @techpunkvlogs

      @@Farawaynow yes, its small and can get crowded.. so if ur the kind who likes quieter beaches, then next time, u can also try Gokarna, a small beach town just 2 hrs from Goa, in Karnataka state.. Gokarna has few isolated beaches and more rusty and quieter and less commercial than goa..

    Still cant decide🤓

    • @Farawaynow

      Thank you for watching. I think it depends on the experience you want. Goa is about nature and the beach. There isn’t really much else to see. Da Nang gives you the city and lots of other sights to see. The food is great in both places and Da Nang is more affordable. Hope this helps.

    Hi. Great video.🤩 I am planning a trip to Goa (my homeland) for the first time. Could you tell me how you traveled from Kochi to Goa? (train? bus?) and how you traveled between the beaches of Goa? Thank you!

    • @Farawaynow

      Thank you for watching. I flew from kochi to goa as I found a very affordable flight. Between the beaches is very easy as there are tuk tuks everywhere and they are very cheap.
