  • Agonda Beach & Palolem Beach are located in South Goa and are among the most beautiful beaches in India. In this 2024 Guide to South Goa I will show you where to stay, what to do and where to eat in Palolem and Agonda. Palolem Beach is now one of the most popular beaches in India. Agonda Beach which is just to the north of Palolem is a more laid back beach destination. Goan Food is legendary and many people come here just to eat Goa’s famous seafood dishes and the amazing Goan curries and vindaloos.

    🇮🇳 I am slow traveling the world and this is my first time in India. I first visited Kerala where I explored Fort Kochi and the backwaters in Alappuzha before heading to Goa. Follow along to see where in India I go next.

    Thank you for posting such a beautiful video. South Goa is so much nicer than the North these days. Unfortunately the North has been spoilt with so much Indian Tourism, water sports & jet ski’s etc.

      Yeah, even though it was my first visit I was surprised by how built up it was. The vibe in Agonda is really nice. Have a great time.

    You have come to goa at peak season. Oct to feb, that's why it's expensive. Check out the rates in March, it will be much cheaper

    • @Farawaynow
      @Farawaynow  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I will definitely check those rates as I know I am coming back.

    I also enjoyed your video in De Nang Vietnam.
    Would you recommend Goa or De nang for nice 1 werk beach holiday?🧐
    Still cant decide🤓

    • @Farawaynow
      @Farawaynow  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for watching. I think it depends on the experience you want. Goa is about nature and the beach. There isn’t really much else to see. Da Nang gives you the city and lots of other sights to see. The food is great in both places and Da Nang is more affordable. Hope this helps.

    u should have checked Patnem! how could u miss that? u were so near.. jus next to palolem is Patnem, less of locals and more premium than agonda.. great sunsets.. also butterfly is a small beach worth a visit.. u should check it out next time.. u can see it on maps for now..

    • @Farawaynow
      @Farawaynow  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thanks for the tips! We did go to butterfly, it was extremely crowded the day we went with so many tour boats carrying a very large group so we didn’t end up including it the video. Thanks for watching.

      @techpunkvlogs 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Farawaynow yes, its small and can get crowded.. so if ur the kind who likes quieter beaches, then next time, u can also try Gokarna, a small beach town just 2 hrs from Goa, in Karnataka state.. Gokarna has few isolated beaches and more rusty and quieter and less commercial than goa..

    Hi. Great video.🤩 I am planning a trip to Goa (my homeland) for the first time. Could you tell me how you traveled from Kochi to Goa? (train? bus?) and how you traveled between the beaches of Goa? Thank you!

    • @Farawaynow
      @Farawaynow  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you for watching. I flew from kochi to goa as I found a very affordable flight. Between the beaches is very easy as there are tuk tuks everywhere and they are very cheap.
