    In today’s video I go over a ton of sports cards that I bought from around the last month or so. The most of which have came from an old friend that I have met at a card show and have a TH-cam video posted all about the deal that we had completed during the Fairfield Card Show, while the rest has come from online at the Discord server that is ran and hosted by Ryanscardsllc. It’s a paid discord server that runs $15 a month but I’ve gotten probably close to 50% or so of my inventory on this discord server and have found some amazing deals and done some amazing sales as well. The big thing I’ve learned through the last year of selling sports card I share during this video and I just go on a complete tangent all about whatever comes to mind. I figured I might try out this different style or type of video because you get more content from me rather than this spanning two different videos and having to just focus on the cards and only talk about what I picked up, I was instead able to talk about whatever I wanted and was thinking about during this process. If you enjoyed this type of content and video please let me know in the comment section below and I hope that I see you in the next one :)

    Thanks for the video. I've been selling low end autos for a summer job. I found by far shows, especially shows in the 100 tables, are the best way to find value. Some card shops too. I haven't been able to find a great source of low end autos online (just signed up for Ryan's Cards) But would love to hear more on how you find that much inventory for your weekly whatnot.

      @@charlesanderson6461 mixture of card shows, in person deals like my local card shop does a really nice sale every now and then where I can stock up on cards, Ryan’s discord, and then trade nights also! eBay might be potentially of interest also. Maybe Facebook marketplace sometimes people might sell off bulk lots on whatnot and you might be able to find some good deals that way

      @ruffasportscards I think Facebook groups have been the best so far and just constantly advertising for buying autos. But yeah I would love any videos about your sourcing methods including how pricing out large lots or what to look for in a lot to ensure you will make profit.

      This is a wonderful video idea.. I’ll have to brainstorm on how to best present this information :)

    You mentioned a need for someone to revolutionize low end cards. I feel like grading services are doing that currently. You pay the fee to hopefully make it worth more but you have to thoroughly check the card before you send it in… it opens up to a different customer… there are a lot of buyers that won’t purchase raw cards. It does add way more risk to a flip though. You are at the mercy of the grading companies turn around times.

      Yes very much so, I didn’t fully mean it in that aspect either, although it does apply somewhat in that instance, it’s just you have to have A LOT of capital to grade in bigggg quantities and to hope that you still end up being profitable. My main point of thought there was if someone were to impact the sports card market so much so that what’s happening with the higher dollar market around $20-30 and up happens to those lower than $20-30 cards then you could see the most wild time in the sports card market again and if someone can figure it out where low end has liquidity like the $20 and up stuff has currently, they would end up being the next big thing. I think grading has always technically been that thing that adds extra value but it’s not the exact solution or fix that is solving the lower dollar market for sports cards. If a group of let’s just say the distribution centers decided that they were gonna buy any single card at 50% of what you’d be getting paid out at on eBay for $20 and lower items, then that could be a MASSIVE thing if someone / something can fully utilize and vitalize the need for that market

      I think the main reason why it doesn’t solve the low end market is because you have to spend $17 to grade, and if it goes the right way, that card technically isn’t apart of the low end market anymore, it’s apart of the very liquid market with repacks being in the system. It’s not a complete solution, it’s just a Bandaid or Neosporin until you can get the infection looked at by a doctor if that makes sense.

    Cool video. I'm trying to learn to sell on whatnot. How do you ship cards? Is it worth starting auctions at a dollar?

    Cool video, how do you comp your cards (eBay app, 130 pt, card ladder)?

      @ruffasportscards  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I just recently like about a month or so ago got card ladder and I use it pretty much first and since I’ve gotten it I’ve not used eBay app much unless if I’m looking to check listings and potentially if any were missed by card ladder. I have a video on how I comp cards with card ladder posted also :)
