When a $20 ride lowers your average per trip earnings, you can understand why premium drivers tell you to turn off Uber X. Your old Uber x earnings were around $10 per trip. It's nice to see you hitting $30 per trip with the new QX. Well done 👍
Scratch that, it’s actually $319 so far today including a $19 tip I didn’t notice was just added for my last ride. This was for the time period from 8 AM to 4 PM today.
Maybe you should add “premium” rides to your titles. Econ drivers probably would have more difficulties with 11/260. I mean it’s possible. But a stretch. And good luck
I don’t know about these PPZ. Yesterday from 4:50pm till 5:50pm I’ve declined over 200 requests. Between 4-5 requests per min. I didn’t get any PPZ for about 30 min. The PPZ I got was 1.50. In about 10 min I got higher zone 3.75. The rest I declined had no PPZ. More than 200 declined requests!
Gio, I agree you should strive for billable miles only, but I think you're undervaluing dead miles. You get the mileage deduction offset and the repositioning benefit...am I wrong?
Not really right or wrong. The more miles you eat the more deductions you have but do those balance out the cost of fuel and repairs and the necessity of a newer car much sooner.
those are sweet. I had one that was $20 surge, and at the end of the trip it was almost $200 payday for me. I was CONFUSED, lol as it was my 1st time seeing that.
you sounds like your teaching people from Atlanta or LA how to ride in Chicago :) Chicago drivers (with at least 1000trips) know that and its obvious :)
When I start out in the far north suburbs at 3:00 am I also have to do economy just to get rolling and start racking up earnings. The premium rides don’t start until after 6am in this neck of the woods. Unfortunately, Uber collects this data and thinks they need to capitalize on the fact premium drivers are willing to give economy rides. That’s why comfort rates are so low, they know passengers are willing pay more and drivers are willing to take less.
Has anyone dealt with this situation with Uber? Before I received an email relating to consenting to a new background check, I received the notification in the app. The notification in the app came to me last week, which I gave my SS and consented. About 5 days later, I get an email stating I need open the app log on and sign the consent form which I already did. last night I got a comfort ride and then just after that got another cover ride that canceled and then I didn't get another ride all night long which is very rare for being in LA. this morning I called Uber support and explain that I wasn't getting rides and they told me to be patient and wait for the background check to come back. they taking me offline since last good night. Has anyone else deal with this? it seems really unprofessional of uber to just randomly do this, and then just take us offline while they wait to receive the results back. I am still able to login go online but I don't receive any trips, however I randomly get comfort rides. LOL I did call support and they just gave me a run around that I just have to be patient. you would think that they would take care of this background check in advance of it expiring and not take us offline. I'm wondering if it's being done to certain people. my acceptance rating is about 35% and my cancel rate is 12%. Just curious. I'm in LA
@@bward455 ..that's cold. wow!. I did get a pool request at 4am for a 7 minutes drop off. This person knows darn well no one will pool ride that time of the day.
The problem with Uber & Lyft is they flooded the market with drivers with pieces of junk cars. The good drivers with nice cars won't drive for Uber / Lyft because its not worth the investments. There's not enough rides to make it worth your time. The cars I see are horrible and some of the drivers are even worse! You get what you pay for. It's like going to a nice restaurant and asking for a filet mignon and what you get is a Big Mac. I don't want to pay for a service where the cars look like pieces of crap and the drivers look like they just rolled out of bed. Keep the drivers with nice cars and good service busy. Screw the rest of them. I don't consider a four year old car with leather seats a luxury car. It's a piece of junk that's 4 years old All Uber and Lyft have to do is raise the standards and requirements and force half of the drivers that are protesting to look for employment elsewhere . The ones that are left won't complain because they make good money. Problem solved. When you go to the O’Hare waiting lot you would think you were in Somalia. Bunch of pirates running.around. F all that! First thing I said to myself is God I definitely don’t belong here. Look at these people. Absolutely depressing! It might sound harsh but you know it’s the truth. First thing you ask yourself is how in the hell did I end up here? It seemed like a cool thing to do but it isn’t. I don’t want to be associated with these people. No way. The guy that runs this channel is conscientious and a hard worker. He drives a nice car and takes pride in his work. He deserves the money he makes. The other 50% of the people on the Uber platform are in trouble! If you can’t make it in rideshare you’re not gonna make it in life. Period! They don’t take pride in themselves and definitely don’t take pride in their work. It shows in the life they live. Hey you can always complain and blame somebody else just like you’ve done all your life. Then you wonder why you can’t get ahead. Don’t blame this guy. He’s doing something you guys would ever be able to do. If Uber were to disappear most drivers would probably starve to death. This guy will make it wherever you put him.
No need for a car that's only 4 years old. Get a nice used luxury SUV that classifies for all the platforms and make bank, no need to get $40,000 in debt just to do rideshare, for some folks it's totally fine, for most it is not a smart financial decision to do that.

I love when the surge you get starts at one amount but at the end of trip then the payout is higher....but I don't know the Algorithm behind that...
