That moment when the English VA for male Rover just casually has the best voice acting in the entire game!? After seeing most of the VA for this game from both the male and female Rover VA, the male Rover just makes the game experience so much more believable... Not just because of the VA, but also the facial expressions are much clearer on the male Rover model. Male Rover just fits this world much better imo. They way he VAs is just immersive, it feels right. I feel like Male Rover is canon. Female Rover is there as another option, but in these more recent stories, male Rover has had better VA, and overall, I think the emotions shown on the face of Rover just fit the Male version better. We have seen female leads in dystopian/post-apocalyptic words and games before, but truly I just don't see how female Rover fits. Also, it may be controversial to say, but there is no way that every female in the game is fauning over Rover, but canon Rover is female... I'm sorry not 100% of females are lesbian/bi. I'm fine if some of them are, but no way every female in WuWa is into other females... Just doesn't work like that. Male Rover has to be canon. But also, the Male Rover English VA just sells it more. His VA is top tier, especially since WuWa has a bunch of newer VA's for their characters.. I'm so glad I chose male Rover and get to experience WuWa like this. Truly phenomenal job Kuro!
After seeing both versions of shorekeeper’s sacrifice, I can see two differences 1. Female MC is a bit more expensive in her voice, but her facial expression isn’t as expressive or emotional. 2. Male MC has more facial expressions and you can see more clearly when he’s happy or sad, but his voice is not as expressive in many occasions.

I regret chosing the female MC...personally, Male MC makes the story more immersive and idk why that is.
