Google security account online payment is what I have been using even with my PayPal account 😊
Why does Google Wallet even need to be region-locked? If it is a tool to hold virtual credentials it should be universal, because people bring their wallet as they travel. Also it should allow people to store any type of locally issued card, not just those on a supported list. First built it into a universal Android app before trying to integrate it into the locality.
Please bring this to the Philippines. ❤

Google pay is missing a big opportunity by trying to grow from the credit card end of the payment spectrum. In fact the bigger opportunity is to start with the prepaid and unbanked end. This is already the case with Playstore credit, but somehow it is not compatible with Google Pay. You need a total rethink of the payment model of the world.
