The Google Wallet app has limits for how many gift cards you can add. Within 30 days, you can add up to 10 cards total and 5 cards per merchant. If you have multiple gift cards for a single merchant, you can ask the merchant to combine your gift cards into one card.

@@blackshadow3741 Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment. The security is on your phone and depends on how your manufacturer sets it up. Why is there a fee 14
99 a week
Thanks for watching my video and commenting. There is NO fee to use Google Wallet, Samsung Wallet or Apple Pay. The Vendor pays any transaction costs. If your Bank charges you a fee then you would have to consider your options.
Soooo. Um. lol Google pay and google wallet are one in the same in the U.S.? Or in general?

Im assuming you can’t add gift cards to your account and spend in the real world?
The Google Wallet app has limits for how many gift cards you can add. Within 30 days, you can add up to 10 cards total and 5 cards per merchant. If you have multiple gift cards for a single merchant, you can ask the merchant to combine your gift cards into one card.
@@TechforSenior wait so you can add the gift cards to the app and spend it anywhere?

How do I send money via Google wallet to a contact
Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment. The answer to your question depends on what country you live in and what device you are using google wallet on. Remember in the US you will likely be using google Pay. support.google.com/googlepay/answer/10197215?hl=en
I can't I dont have 0hone can u please help please
Apple pay predominance is a reality mostly in the US, not even Europe uses it that muvh, and the rest of the world is just going with google wallet for the simple fact tbat the devices don't cost you an eye and a kidney.
Thanks for watching my video and commenting. In 2021 Apple processed 22% of e-payments in Europe
Apple is bigger in the US only. Google and Samsung are bigger elsewhere.
Thanks for watching and commenting. You are correct. Be sure and watch the above linked video for US residents.

In the UK its just Google wallet.
Yes, I think it is just the USA and India that still use both Google Pay and Wallet. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@TechforSenior also Singapore
Thanks for clarifying that. I'm new to all this stuff and needed (due to being forced to use mobile e-tickets) to store my concert ticket somewhere. But tbh I'm very concerned about where this is all heading. It seems as though every aspect of life is becoming digitised and people are jumping onboard with all this without too much thought about how these systems can be abused by Google/Apple etc if you commit wrong think.
Is google wallet safe?
Yes, absolutely. It is the same technology that Samsung Pay, and Apple Pay uses around the world.
How, there is no password or fingerprint required to pay? So how it is safe?
@@blackshadow3741 Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment. The security is on your phone and depends on how your manufacturer sets it up. It could be a PW, Biometric Scan, finger print.. etc. The watches require a PIN. The vendor only gets a transaction code so no credit card number or PIN is scanned into the reader, Much more secure.
@@TechforSenior I'm using samsung pay curve card seems very similar I love the curve card as it works on banks that samsung pay on its own don't support like my Lloyd's bank I have all my cards from different banks on the curve card I use it on my samsung gw4 so handy Thanks for this great video I did wonder what happened to g pay 😀 👍
Never had issues with this before but I think Google is matching my brain since I have Dementia now and they both seem the same. My issue is I get voucher cards for playing games and I spend them on games. My problem is that MT voucher goes to Google Play but not Google wa!let!!!!!!! It's like app won't accept it! But
If you probably send ten dollars to my varo, how can I do that
You would have to contact Varo Bank and ask about linking to Google Wallet.
Great explanation!
Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment.
Do you work for Google? Or is Tech for seniors in anyway linked to Google? I'm assuming yes....would be nice to know
Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment. We have no affiliation or any support from Google. Many of our videos are very critical of Google and in that particular video I point out that Apple has 94% of the transaction business compared to Google's 3%. Apple Pay works perfectly. Google is really dropping the ball.

what if you get a refund?
Google Wallet has your existing credit cards. If the merchant refunds then the money would go from the Vendor directly to your credit card as it does now. Remember the only function of Google Wallet is to provide security to your credit card transaction by using a " Transaction Code " that doesn't give any personal information.
I have $ 100 on Google pay but can't use it.
Yes you can. Just log in through the Web Portal and transfer the cash out.
Before I watched this, I was having many problems setting up my Google pay account. After watching this I feel like I still don't understand what to do. I actually feel dumber.
Thanks for commenting. Just to confuse everyone, Google makes it different in different countries and devices. It really depends on what Country you live in. There is a move to make Google Wallet the standard.

God help us if Microsoft decides to enter this field. They would have like 25 different variants, each with a completely nonsensical name that would regularly change.
