That first "for death is NOT the end"....look at his face, the emotion, sang like he his trying desperately to assure us that hope is not lost. If we've got the boss we've got hope. From Newcastle, England.
That's a beautiful description that I agree is accurate. We all know time is precious... he knows though we remain connected. People like him, humble, inspiring and joyful throughout most of his life- so rare. ✌️from Florida

Beautiful heartfelt sentiment & I so love your amazing post! Thank the Lord for our military, our police force & firemen and everyone that guards our country, giving their lives to protect our freedom! May God Bless the souls of all those who gave up their lives, so we can live safely in the 🇺🇸 USA, where we are given the freedom of choice! How blessed we are to live here in the 🇺🇸 USA! May God bless the souls of all those that died that day so tragically at the hands of those terrorists & in the yrs following 9/11 from illnesses received from exposure when they tried to save survivors or retrieve bodies! Many were covered with ash, that happened to be in area that day & died from exposure to chemicals! Last of all May God Bless the families & friends of those who lost loved ones that day & in the decades following 9/11! May the Lord Bless & keep you all! 🙏 Amen

Yesssss!!❤
Very touching song
Thanks Bruce. So heartfelt. The words are so powerful and touching. Only when we have suffered losses - can those words be expressed so beautifully. 🙏🙏🙏
That was beautiful, God bless you Bruce & God bless the fallen & everyone who lost someone on that tragic day. Rip brothers & sisters 🙏🌹
This is my little way of saying thank you from my heart for your likes and comments on my personal and fan pages.
I and my management are saying a big thank you. Much love from me to you and your family.
We Appreciate All Of It.🙏❤️🙏🙏
@Office Bruce Springsteen Thanks Bruce! 👍
Watching this for the first time in December 2022. The memories of that terrible time come back in the blink of an eye. We lost a cousin, Paul Beyer, who was in the second (North) tower when it collapsed. He was on the job with the FDNY, heading up the stairs to fight the fire and rescue civilians on the upper floors. Total devotion to duty. Thank you Bruce, for this.

I am thankful and blessed to be an American. But why is it that we only come together in times of tragedy. We have the greatest gift in being a Free Country. We” All of us need to being thankful and show our gratitude and appreciation to not only our Military but our fellow Americans. We are all of the human race. Let us all stand together as Americans.
God Bless AMERICA.
The many dogs that worked tirelessly trying to find survivors & bodies, some around the clock, collapsing from exhaustion! Last of all May God Bless the families & friends of those who lost loved ones that day & in the decades following 9/11! May the Lord Bless & keep you all! 🙏 Amen
This song got me through the night my brother died. Losing a sibling is like losing a body part. I will never be the same. Rest In Peace Manny Teixeira 8/11/2022
PATTY, YOUR BAND, AND YOU CONTINUE TO BE OUR USA VOICE.
THANK YOU.✌
Proud to have a father whose a retired firefighter aswell as a kid brother and a son who does security keeping this holy ground safe for all to enjoy and pay there respects God bless America 🇺🇸🙏
Like Paul Simon doing “Sounds of Silence,” you poignantly sang to our souls. The artist creates art to challenge us or to calm and heal our wounds. Today your song healed us and healed our hearts with your song.
Beautifully said Gary
Thank you Gary for this comment.
How eloquent & touching your beautiful comment was Gary! You put is so beautifully & I couldn’t agree with you more! Everything you said is perfect & exactly how I feel! Simon & Garfunkel’s song “Sounds of Silence” touches my soul each time I hear it & feels to my heart, exactly as this heartfelt poignant song 🎵 by Bruce Springsteen, feels to me , each time I hear it, as well. These two 🎶 songs stay in your memory & heart, long after you have heard the last melodic strains of these songs!♥️
As Neil Diamond once said, "Don't listen to the words, listen to the feeling," The feeling expressed expressed by this iconic performer in this setting is profoundly moving.
Amen

Thank you Bruce Springsteen. To all those who lost a loved one. May you see they every night in your dreams.
Bruce with an actual tie on. But the Boss can certainly touch your heart with his soulful voice. The woman crying nearly made me join her. We all have broken hearts that need to mend.
Yes, respectful enough to put on a suit and tie for this memorial.

Bruce always has the right words and the songs are so heartfelt. I just wish people in America would focus on unity rather than conflict. Unfortunately the agitators seem hellbent on preventing that.
I Agree, so let's start saying "I whish people of the world would focus...)
A great emotion is born when listening to you singing this song.🎶
You touched not only those present, but also us, who are far away.
His feelings of solidarity with the departed do not go unnoticed in our eyes.
I really admire you, Bruce Springsteen.

Hard to believe it’s been 20 years. Still hard believe it could even happen. Still keep the victims and their families and friends in my thoughts, especially the firefighters and police that sacrificed their lives to help others. How can humans be so hateful and cruel to each other? Thankfully we also have so many people that give love, empathy and understanding. Bruce is one of those and speaks/sings in a way that makes a real difference to so many people. Thank you Bruce. Stay strong America with love from a fan of Bruce and the US of A in Australia xxxxxx

I first became a fan 40+ years ago in college and with all the great music since, he’s still my favorite. If anything, he’s become more open and humane over the years. I miss the young Bruce with all the swagger of youth, but this Bruce, this older man who has seen life for what it is and is still this beautiful human being, this Bruce gives me faith in humanity.
Just took a deep intake of breath reading your words, they hit home. Thanks for writing
My condolences to the friends and family of all victims. Keep strong.
