Gotta say this is one of my favorite songs of hers and i absolutly love listening to he live because even when she flubs the words and strait has to restart a section she f*cking owns it and thats awsome.
My 20th Century Literature professor played this performance in class because we were talking about the punk era. The whole class loved it!!! I feel like all English majors should give this song a listen
And all punks! As a self-avowed punk, I consider all counter-cultural efforts punk. Especially not striving for perfection, especially having fun that has no purpose except being fun. Amanda Palmer deserves even more respect from the punk community than she gets. So do ukeleles.
Just HORRIBLE. I mean, I know hipster millennials (I'm almost one by the math) believe that ironic, emotional "creativity" is supposed to trump talent but it doesn't. 'Live From Here' is an immensely inferior product, from 'APHC' . Shame on the Producers. My wife & I try to make this Radio Show a part of our Saturday, each weekend, but garbage like this makes it difficult. I HATE THIS.
*scoffs in hipster* Only REAL millennials will appreciate the post-ironic emotional malaise Amanda Palmer achieves with her riveting and nuanced ukulele performances, of course best enjoyed with a slice of avocado toast in a barista apron. Truly I pity a Gen-Xer like yourself, your financial stability and skewed idyllic perceptions have blinded you to the realities of the human condition and hardened your heart to the indisputable genius of "Ukulele Anthem" by Ms. Palmer. As I see you are not a person of culture, allow me to redirect you to perhaps a more *~*digestible*~* performance for your traditional tastes, A-ha's “Take On Me”. *tips fedora* th-cam.com/video/djV11Xbc914/w-d-xo.html
@@thelongislandguy I listened to the full show both Saturday night and Sunday morning, and enjoyed both her music and her personality. I do, however, respect your opinion as you have respected mine.

Loved that. Completely fits with the spirit of the song.
She is such a genius. Songs like these are what the English language was made for.
Love the song. Love her spirit.
I LOVE THIS!!! I’ve found my personal anthem! Ukes for peace!
💕💕 Thank you Amanda.

Well, I guess I know what song I'm learning next on my ukulele...
Glad Live from Here finally got me to listen to Amanda Palmer.
SO PUNK! We love you AFP
Bedtime 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵
That was fan-fuckin-tastic!!!
😆❤️
So that's what her real eyebrows look like.
AFP!
She needs back-up singers lmao
Some one needs to pass her a tuner. How someone who cant sing or play ukulele for shit gets on a show like this is outstanding.
She played in drop d because she had a cold
I mean, she was sick. Besides, since when was punk about being in tune?
Feels like you didn't listen to the lyrics.
Can’t play the ukulele? Bro….

If you think this an millennial anthem, you might want to give it another listen.
Sounds like you're not a fan of laughter. Shame.
Of course, there's always the killjoy. I guess we really can't all get along :")
Worst “artist” I’ve ever heard on this show.
I disagree with you.
Screaming Weevil did you listen to the entire show or just this clip? I respect your opinion regardless.

@@screamingweevil3410 How lucky!! I really wish I could go see her, but she doesn't come around where I live :")
Worst comment I have ever seen on this site. 😐
