  • Polysulphide Sealants - GUN GRADE
Polysulphide sealants are usually formulated as one- or two-component products which are based on sulfur containing liquid polymers. Because of their excellent resistance to fuel and chemicals, Mainly two types are available (Pouring Grade (PG) and Gun Grade (GG)
Polysulphide Sealants are widely used for any kind of construction and expansion joints on usual construction sites, for airport constructions, various aerospace applications, sewage plants and areas where high chemical properties and UV resistance are required.

But can u tell me something, we manufacture and assemble Precast RCC buildings. So 2 questions: 1. This treatment has to be done on both sides of the panel joint? 2. What special putty/primer/paint is to be used for finishing over the joint so that joint is not visible?

Hi, I'm working with WBSEDCL in the capacity of assistant engineer. I'm looking for a working method for applying flexible sealant into vertical expansion joints of our generation unit housing building. If you could kindly help me with the same I'll be grateful.

too much of sealant wastage on the masking tape, which will add extra cost to the contractor, how do we consider the wastage in % ?.

Don’t over shoot the joint. There should be very little to no sealant on the tape. They are not very skilled. But their methods are right except you should use a rounded putty knife for a concave surface and should NEVER USE SOAPY WATER.
