Patrick's first knee-jerk reaction is to assume Robin is jealous and that is the only reason why she called Patrick b/c he had a bump on his head, then he realizes it was more than that. Then he accused of Robin calling Patrick away from a date w/Lelya, when she was wanting him for surgery someone else could do, but then he finds out it was someone from Georgie's life. He does the same when she asks for him for another surgery. But he jumps in when he sees her with another guy
What bothers me is he talk to Carly about why he wouldn’t want children, but he never tells Robin that. he just tells her he doesn’t see her as the mother of his children because he doesn’t want children.
They really tried to ruin the communication process w/Patrick and Robin. He can talk to Carly and his male friends and Robin talks to her male and female friends, but they never cross over. He could have said he likes kids but is afraid to have one of his own. He once said Robin would make a great mother but could have added he felt he'd make a lousy father b/c of the way he was raised, but instead, they wait, have a pregnancy scare, still wait w/out communicating until Robin realizes she wants to have kids, they still stay together thinking it will go away until NS and Stacy's baby, break-up but he wants to table it for a yr. until realizing nothing will change. But they have shouting matches and no real discussions. He turns to Lelya even though he keeps telling her he loves her, but actions speak louder than words. Within minutes he resorts to OG Patrick, whether it's b/c he's hurt or angry or the incessant need to get laid and satisfy his male urges.
Carly can be an annoying nag, but she is a good friend it's sad that Robin never got to see this side of her and Carly didn't show this side a lot. I'm more on Robin's side then Carly's but Carly is good at seeing the good in people just like Robin is. I just wish she was didn't have to make other women her enemy over Sonny or Jason because she was afraid of being replaced.
It was all about Michael and her jealousy of anyone in Jason's life other than Courtney. Jason ended up choosing Robin until Michael. She liked Elizabeth until she saw Jason dancing w/her and when Jason let Liz take care of him instead of Carly, she had an instant dislike for her. She partially blames Elizabeth for dancing w/Jason and if that hadn't happened, she wouldn't have slept w/Sonny.
It was so sad to me that Noah didn’t realize that if he just gave up Patrick would be an orphan, he wouldn’t even have a father because he lost his mother to
Are you saying Noah should have left Patrick in the care of relatives after his mother died? That after he checked out and dived into a bottle, Patrick would be better off?
Believe it or not when Robin asked Noah how many fingers she was holding and he said 6, it really was the number 6 in American Sign Language! It's also the letter W depending on the context of the conversation. 🤷🏽♀️
But is that the way Noah was thinking? I don't recall him having any hearing-impaired friends. Unless I was having a conversation with someone who is deaf, I would perceive that as a 3 and a 6 or W if they were deaf, but that would also include the signing of how many fingers am I holding up.
This never made sense to me because when did Patrick see his father as an utter failure, until his mother died and he was in college already? when Patrick was younger his father got him excited about doing NASCAR, and that’s what he was really interested in his father got him to love medicine so much that he decided he wanted to be a neurosurgeon...
I was always wondering when they were developing Patrick’s relationship with Carly which turned into a friendship, were they trying to see if that was gonna be a possible love interest or was it always going to be Robin?
Rosanne Perkins Patrick's main love interest was always Robin but he was young, hot and his character had a rep as a womanizer so they tested him with everyone. Carly was Robin's rival and using her as a potential wedge between them was a quick and easy way to create conflict between P and R. Laura Wright was the new Carly at this point. Her biggest love interests that year were Jax and and Sonny but she had side diversions like Patrick, Max and Jason. The point was to hype her up by making her seem irresistible to men.
maris78 there was an interview that Jason Thompson did, I don’t remember if it was during GH time or shortly after, but he said that he was told he had three weeks to wow them maximum six for him and Robin. that’s why I was confused about why they paired him with anyone else. He was brought on and tested with Robin to be her love interest.
@@rosanneperkins9516 I never saw any chemistry w/Carly and maybe he was trying to prove to himself he didn't care for Robin as that meant he would have to have real feelings and that was his fear of turning into his father (he said this to Pete when Robin was shot in the MC crisis)

Patrick basically begging Noah to fight is heartbreaking.
It's interesting that he talked to Robin about his dad and mom, but wouldn't talk about it at all with Carly. That was telling.

I think they changed things, b/c I recall Patrick was 16 when his mother died
I just want to know the music playing in the background...
Do it for me dad
Did Noel die
Noah?? No
he works for doctors without boulders
