+foxbear60 Sorry, I am referring to "Panic." For some reason I felt like it was a theme for boss battles, but I also feel like the only fight that had a different theme was the final battle. Hm. Panic should definitely have been used as a boss battle theme.
Yamaneko81 I had a PS2 emulator years ago, but my computer couldn't run it fast enough. Maybe they have gotten better over time though and are less hassle.
Xenosaga 2 had a really amazing story, great soundtrack and bad gameplay. The battle system does get really complex and needs some getting used to, but not a terrible game.

I agree cutscene music is amazing. Battle/town music some of the worst music I’ve heard. Doesn’t fit. But luckily xenosaga 3 just kept the cutscene composer.
