Player before game: **ZING**
the Yellow player's forces gave you a very tough time because he was fielding light cavalry (like dragoons) and light infantry (skirmishers) while you were consistently training heavy infantry (musketeers) and heavy cavalry (life guards). His army comp is a heavy counter to yours,
that's why you lost almost every engagement you had with him and consequently broke your economy.
what you should've done in response to him was mass longbows and cannons with and some lifeguards in reserve. longbows (light infantry) are hard counters to light cavalry, and I think outrange skirmishers. Once you destroyed his dragoons with your longbowmen and cannons, you send in the life guards to mop up the skirms and his cannons.
so to summarize, generally speaking:
Heavy Cavalry >> Light Infantry, Cannons
Light Cavalry >> Heavy Cavalry and somewhat beats Heavy Infantry, cannons
Heavy Infantry >> Heavy Cavalry, buildings
Light Infantry >> Heavy Infantry, Light Cavalry
Cannons >> all Infantry, except coyote runners, rattan shields and those naked indian dudes with shields; and also somewhat beats light cavalry
also, units will also soft-counter enemy units of the same kind, but that's a coin toss to the one with more upgrades, units improvement cards and quantity.

theses guys lost cuz they literally just let orange build a base right infront of their eyes but red saw and mark it and yet the other two didnt do anything. thats why you guys lost. you gotta play attack on your teamate calls sometimes. i mean do walls and shit but also attack. giving you time to do walls while your attacking... this was bad teamwork

Too slow, bad deck, too much lumbers. Your Eco cant stand. You should have all imperial things when 10 mins are left treaty. Then just wait. 40 mins you should have 30-40000 food and gold. Wood you can make 2 factories. I knew you lose cuz you had 3000 gold when 40 min treaty ended

Bro the match is lost because simply u let the enermy build a base in yur territory. Red showed u u ignored it. Also u had resources for artillery and u kept pressing mersenaries.
base crawling is cheap, idc who does it or what game. in the original you could only have 3 TCs, a limited amount of outpost and people still found a way to base crawl.
Red Alert: build a train of PPs throw down coils. zap, zap, zap, just zapping away everything.
starcraft: uh yeah, im just gonna build a pylon right here and a wall of photons that slowly creep forwards.
it's a corny but valid strategy. base crawling is easy to beat if you know what you're doing, since the base crawler or turtler spends so much resources on structures and defenses instead of troops... so he/she probably has a weaker army or his/her army is not very flexible.

2) you clearly haven’t played against base crawlers or at least not in games were base defense is actually hard hitting like RA. where you only need 2 tesla and 1 flame to effectively shut down any attempt at stopping your base crawl and continue creeping forwards and still having plenty for an army.
Attack is the best Defence.

Even now I can't get past how bad the building destruction is. It looks like canned stop motion animation ported from the AOE2 remaster, and it sounds like someone dropped a bunch of pvc pipes in their basement.

Why 3 town centers?
to spam villagers and reach villager cap asap. late game AoE games are wars of attrition, so you'd better have a really resilient economy to support endless battles. and economy means villagers.
