If SRH vs PBKS is a washed out and RR lose their last game vs KKR, RR will finish No.2 right similar to MI 2015 where they finished 2nd instead of 4th because of "no of wins" rule (RCB and RR despite having a much better run rate than MI, finished 3rd and 4th as they lost 2 games to wash out)
BCCI needs to do better. If league moves to 70+ matches, they need to have reserve days towards business end of the tournament.
If SRH & RR lose their last games, CSK has a good chance to finish in the top 2.
ipl needs to begin a week or 2 sooner ....wpl needs to finish early this last week of ipl has been a total dud .....plus now the playoffs are in ahmedabad god knows what will happen there

See bcci cannot change the schedule of the ipl they have to start by March end and end it by May end. bcci is the richest board if they can spend some money and try to install roofs in stadiums where ipl is held like chinnaswamy, cheapuk , wankhede; it wud be good. Atleast we won't see matches getting affected by rain and no team will qualify without playing. May is time rain starts in most places of India , or if they cannot build roofs they shud check weather forecast and prepare schedule accordingly so rain doesn't play a role

Out of 7 matches, SRH got big scores but not necessarily big wins. But they have also won close games defending and chasing (while the top order collapsed couple of times). I still dont understand how they can make a blanket judgements about big wins or big flops. And these guys are seasoned analysts. Big flaws in srh? Sure they have flaws, but big ones? They havent bothered to just read and analyse them better. Theyre lost in mi csk rcb hype.

Thank you to Pomme for pointing out the reality where SRH are concerned. Everyone praises them for their batting, but on the days that their openers fail, they completely crumble as a batting unit...and even when they scored 277 and 287, the opposing teams still scored 246 and 262 which means their bowling unit hasn't always been up to the mark either. They only really had one blowout match against LSG when they scored the runs inside of 10 overs, which is why their NRR is only +0.41. I'm not saying they can't go on to win the tournament, but a few flashy innings with the bat has caused people to overlook their obvious weaknesses.

They won by 2 runs against Punjab, so I'm not sure what you were trying to prove...that their bowlers barely won them the game or that, other than Nitish who made 64, their batting lineup failed to fire?
well their approach is high risk righ reward one...🙄once their top 2 goes down they can build a partnership but they still go for a shot unnecessarily even after knowing it might not work....they said they will play the same and also said its not going to work everytime...whole world knows what happens if travis head starts anchoring and going deep...thats the reason how he becomes rock solid in finals...the only reason srh can lose now is because of their spinner weakness...and looks like it sorted out but at the cost of no strong no.3 batsmen...the way to nullify that no.3 weakness is to not go agressive in powerplay and lose wickets...i dont think theyre gonna change their approach as they only care about playing ballsy...but if they changed, theyre winning the cup..
