I'm shade 440 as well. I returned the shade I thought was at my Sephora and ALL the dark shades were sold out. Come through beautiful WOC! We showed up!

I knew I would be in the 300's, so the first thing I did when I got to the store was put them all in my cart while I waited for my swatches to dry down. Good thing I did because they only had one 370 and it turned out to be my shade. I got the foundation, primer, and highlight brush, but after this review, I may go back for that foundation brush.

The foundations do not oxidise. I wish people would stop saying it because it is untrue. The water in the foundation evaporates and the true colour remains and it does not change. An oxidising foundation changes colour throughout the day.

I have dry skin and it works for me! If your skin care routine is appropriate for dry skin and you use a nourishing/moisturizing primer, you can enjoy most matte foundations.
did you use the primer? do you mind sharing what primer you use on a regular . i have dry skin too but i hate dewy foundations, but im scared to wear the mattes and look too dry. thanks in advance
I havent tried Fenty primer. Too face hangover primer is great for dry skin. If Im being honest, your skincare routine is what determines dryness/flakiness, not primer. At night I exfoliate with AHAs, which are great for dry skin. In the morning before makeup, I use a a non-foaming cleanser, hydrating toner, antioxidant-rich serum, moisturizer, an oil like Argan or Marula oil. Then of course sunscreen. Your routine shouldn't have irritating essential oils, fragrance/dyes, silicones, chemical screens, SLS and drying alcohols.

Y'all never fail me! Lol. Some people are disappointed y'all didn't use all Fenty products; however, I'm glad y'all didn't because I can't get the whole line at once. This is proof her products can be used with some of the stuff I already have until I can purchase more things from the collection. Great review and I think this is one of y'all best matching foundations thus far! 👐

I have dry skin and I used Laura Mercier hydrating primer without setting it with all over powder ... like I normally do... I just set it with setting spray; it give me a nice look.. 7 hours later my finish was still flawless..

I love the fact that you guys kept it real and only bought products that you knew you were gonna use as oppose to buying everything. It just makes you so much more relatable and lovely to watch. As The average girl, such as myself will only be able to pick up/afford a few pieces from her collection

Thank you guys so much for uploading today! I have Ulcerative Colitis and found out today from my doctor that the medication I've taking hasn't been working and I may need surgery. I'm still putting all of my faith in God's hands and I know I'm going to be fine with Him walking with me. Thanks for making my day better with another bomb video and flawless makeup! Y'all are helping me on my way to being VIB Rouge !

They would have to take my colon out. I'm going to try medicinal cannabis and other natural remedies before I commit to that, and pray a lot!

I respect this review so much. I think everyone was just buying everything in the line just because it was Rihanna. And their review was bias because everyone else was saying the product was good. Me too. Most reviews I saw were so biased and ppl were just fan girling over Rihanna and not really giving us a full, detailed review. This review was pretty good.
Definitely right about the foundation getting darker as it sets. I swatched 410 and 420 on my hand at Ulta and now an hour later, I see the difference. They technically both match me but the lighter one would be better as a wintertime foundation as I do get darker during the warmer months. Thank you guys for all that you do!!! 💕💕💕💕

I have dry skin and this foundation is AH-MAZING on my skin. This foundation really is for EVERY skin type. The foundation is a demi matte. It's not completely matte. Thank you ladies for this video.

The foundation dries and the real color shines through. Matching foundation is crucial. Go in the store and do a swatch test. I see many girls buy two shades because of the changing skin tones. Some people are lucky and get a perfect match and others may have to blend colors to get an exact match. That foundation seems to have an orangish undertone, yet when it dried it looked great. Bravo!

This is honestly like the first foundation I’ve seen that looks like your skin. I would have NEVER guess you guys had on foundation. It doesn’t look overly done. It’s so natural and flattering.

I tend to use the same foundation shade as you, but I got 420 in the Fenty vs. the 440 since it dried darker.
Hopefully she will come out with powders with the 2018 Spring launch; I have only seen new glosses (Puma x Rihanna from NYFW). The blotting powder on shelves now is amazing though! Not for setting, but great for blotting.

I think what she meant by "retouch" in the primer's description was like how when you do a photoshoot, the photographers retouch the pictures and make the skin look soft and smooth...kinda like wearing a filter...hence the name of the foundation and prime "Pro Filt'r"

I don't wear makeup but I think both of you look GORGEOUS!! Kelsey's makeup blend in perfectly with her skin tone.I like that both of your make up wasn't cakey but look nice and smooth.Very nice review.
You guys can go lighter and more golden 420 or 430 certainly. That's only if your not OK with the 440. I love how unbiased you guys are.

My skin can get pretty dry and I was scared it wouldn't work for me.. So I got a sample.. I made sure I moisturized well and I really liked it.. it lasted and I wasn't dry or flaky in my dry areas like I am with some foundations.. I'm still going to test it out a few times before I commit but so far so good 😊

i do wonder if it's oxidizing or drying down because in my experience when foundation oxidizes it turns orange or grey but these just get darker. its like when you paint something and it dries a little darker, we never say the paint oxidizes. thats just my thought
