Tony is brilliant, because he doesn't have to lose. He's smart enough to be objective, if he thinks you have any leg up even a tiny one, he'll change his suit so it doesn't happen again.
@@0g0dn0 My point is, he doesn't to see his flaws. He's the type to win 12 straight rounds boxing, but remember the 1 jab his opponent landed, or even the punch that almost caught him off guard and fix that. Most people brush off the small details especially when they do well overall. Tony wouldn't and that's why he would always come back stronger.
In iron man 3, when killian cripples Tony’s suit by taking out the arch reactor with ease, tony upgraded the armor so that during his conflict with cap and Bucky, Bucky has a great struggle to remove the reactor. One could argue the lack of heat from the extremis project was why it was harder for Bucky, but I’m sure tony would’ve noted that as a clear vulnerability of his suit if the reactor was easily removed.
I agree cause if you look at mark.42 and mark.46, 46 has a smaller chest piece and also has another layer of titanium in it. He made sure it was harder for enemies to remove it.
He lost consciousness when he went into space for the first time in The Avengers movie. I suspect that he upgraded his suit to provide oxygen as well as pressure since. Of course, he may have lost consciousness in a different way, but I can't think of why else he would have.
@@zap4th368 If the suit is pressurized, any oxygen in the suit will remain there. Just because it doesn't provide extra does not mean that the few seconds tony was in space in the first avengers movie would have rendered him unconscious.

I would say they are nano holders(like mk50 chest piece) on his chest not full armours like the old ones(IM 3) and also tony know that he is needed to die for everyone to win so he was like:fuck it
My theory is that these suits between Mark 50 and Mark 85 are prototypes in form of nanobots. But it's not like he builds several suits for it, but rather re-arranges nanobots to set its new form or shape. Transfering new information to the suit so that nanobots would respond and adapt to the new changes, thus morphing its appearance while in process.

Yeah, people always praise Batman for always being prepared, but Ironman is more human, dude gets beaten up, creates a new armor and beats them up with his intelect, he is the most strong minded character in my opinion. Specially since he lost so much and always kept going forward.
@@hetoverseo3887 To compare Iron Man and Batman, I would say (the mcu version, didn’t really follow the comics) Iron Man jumped into the fight first blind and get hurt and learn and come back 10x stronger. I would say Batman will (just to say Bruce Wayne Batman because there have been others in canon) will stalk the villain and learn a bit to be better prepared to fight and win
@Vongola Atzi I would also say that they are kinda similar in one more way. I would say their use of tools, except Iron Man does distance and Batman does up close and personal, and I kind of think Batman’s Batmobile and Batwing could really be compared to Iron Man’s armor
@Vongola Atzi nah. My argument for that would be that cyborg didn’t make himself. Batman and Iron Man essentially made themselves with their money. Captain America’s equivalent would be more like a version of Superman that was depowered (not being able to fly and all that ya know)
So in iron man 2 he has those red lasers that he does the spin with to take out all the hammer drones. Then in avengers the lasers weren't powerful enough to cut through the chitauri whale thing. Then in age of ultron he uses it to cut through the bottom of the sokovia meteor. The hole he cuts is super not straight. He then uses it again in infinity war to cut into ebony maws ship, and he uses suction cups to be able to hold him steady while he cuts and he cuts a perfect hole cuz he's stable while being on the side of a alien space craft.
Wanna say when loki toss tony from his tower it took a while for his suit to reach him before hitting the ground. So wanna compare the scene when tony launched peters iron spider suit before falling far in the atmosphere and off the ship.
there's a very solid theory that tony's gauntlet was a one time use thing as well. but by not telling anyone and keeping thanos' focus on getting the gauntlet tony was able to steel the stones back
You missed how in Endgame, he had a specialized way of taking in Thor's lightning since he learned that it supercharges the suit in Avengers. Also, my favorite iron man suit will always be Mark 17. It's just such a dope design. I also love the mark 37 in the comics, Bleeding Edge. That one's pretty self-explanatory
Thor is two strong he could beat it just like hulk. In the movie hulk was even with the suit because he didn’t get mad enough. In the comic hulk was easily beat that suit. The big guy from the black order easily beat hulk buster and hulk is stronger than him.
The drone tech we saw in IM3 was a direct response to IM2, where Tony faced off against an army of Hammer drones. His decision to obsessively produce redundant suits wasn't just a PTSD reaction to the end of Avengers, it was also so that he would have the option of backup in the form of wearable drone suits, as we saw at the docks in the climax of that film. Tony continued developing the drone army concept going into Age of Ultron, until the titular android hijacked Tony's drone army and expanded it into the Ultron army, after which point Tony ditched the drone concept altogether focused entirely his individual suits as an extension of himself, with extra emphasis on portability.
Man just created a new element, sounds both cool and cheesy. And also another upgrade, the first few suits were receiving commands from Tony and then executing them so there is a small "latency", so the action scene are a lil sluggish when compared to later entries, however the newer suits are upgraded to receive Tony's commands based on his mind(kidda like reflex), so there is less of a delay, and he moves way more agile :)

Tony always upgraded suits for those he gave suits to, you just don't see them focused on After Rhodes got injured Tony helped build the tank like suit seen in Endgame, because he wanted to protect Rhodes from another injury
It was 400% not 4000. Cap didn't defeat Tony in hand to hand combat. Tony adapted and beat him, countering his every move. Bucky distracting him is what gave cap opening.
Suddenly I realize that Tony Stark is the main character of the entire MCU. Every story beat, every villain reveal, all of it designed to push Iron Man to greater and greater heights. The TVA was correct.
THIS is one of the MANY reasons I love Iron Man. He just adapts from every fight. We can also se this in Iron Man 3 with the Mark 8-41, Even though less then a year has passed between Avengers and IM3, Tony had built over 30 new suits, many focusing on a very specific idea, role, or upgrade. Such as the Mark 41 "Bones" being being the first with the ability to split into multiple parts and fly separately, it just lacked the remote control function later added to the Mark 42. I'm guessing many of these suits inspired him to eventually add similar abilities to the Mark 50 when he finally made a breakthrough with the nano tech, thus instead of having to have the feature solidly built in, it can just be created by the nanobots.
@@acesb24 the fight with cap and Bucky also did, but yeah this is the main thing tbh. Was wondering why the nano is so smooth now I realise was to get it to have no openings.
Never thought about it too closely before, but now the way Tony upgrades his suit because of loss or preparation reminds me a little bit of Batman who can defeat a variety of foes with enough preparation.
Not only did he improvised, adapt and overcome. He also knew how to capitalized on on all those changes. In Avengers 1, when his upgrade from Whiplash’s electric attacks helped siphoned lightning from Thor to have his suit charged up to 400%, he realised the suit’s electronics couldn’t take that multiple times, as you could see crackles in his HUD and hairline Sears on the outside of the armor. He later capitalized on this in his final armor by building a target core to focus Thor’s lightning into a powerful weapon, which he used against Thanos to really hold him back, because he learnt from his fight on Titan that even his advanced repulsor rays were only like pressured water jets to Thanos. Speaking of repulsors, he realised that his repulsors had a long charge-up time since Iron Man 2, when he fought the terrorists in the desert. So he upgraded those repulsors to have an instant activation time so he could battle more effectively.
5:30 | He wasn't shielding himself. He was shielding Clint Barton. Also the reason he included a parachute in Peter's suit is because his friend, Rhodes, fell.
He he survive his snap against Thanos, it's almost guranteed that he would've eventually develop a nano gauntlet that would let him safely use the stones.
In Iron Man 3 Tony Stark"s suit has different features, he created the suits with different unique features, some of the suits even have successors with even better features than the previous ones, and another reason why some of the suit easily break is because he made them in a very short time...
Another thing is that Tony tried calling pepper and couldn’t connect with her and almost wasn’t able to say goodbye to her in the first avengers movie when he flew the nuke into space, so he has pre recorded messages in the case of his death like how it happened in endgame
Knowledge is power. Tony used his skills to continually upgrade his armor. It’s similar to machine learning in A.I. Over experience, he was able to learn and become more knowledgeable of his flaws and his opponents flaws. Allowing his to punch the boundaries and if we had more time he probably could’ve made his suit damn near invincible
If anyone hasn't marked this down yet: he also probably included a pee filtration system in Iron man 2 because he was stuck in the desert with no water around. (Right before rody took the silver suit)
Another thing is that Tony added the boosters in infinity war because he couldn’t catch up to Rhodey in time when he fell and other occasions when he couldn’t make it somewhere fast enough
Another one you missed: once he travelled through the wormhole in the first avengers, JARVIS ended up cutting out. After travelling outside the atmosphere and onto titan, FRIDAY still continued to work.
On Titan in Infinity War, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and the Guardians struggled a lot trying to remove the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos' arm. So in Endgame, right before Iron Man's snap in the final act, instead of trying to remove the gauntlet from Thanos yet again, he uses the nanobots to instead just remove the stones.
Tony saw that the stones made thanos almost invincible, which inspired the addition of the infinity gauntlet style glove on the 85, as well as the means to “steal” them from the infinity gauntlet
I feel that his mini iron watch, in civil war, was also more of a contingency. It had the smallest arc reactor we have seen. It was portable and very small in case of an emergency. It made it through security when they weren't supposed to have weapons. I don't know if it had any offensive capabilities, it seemed to be mainly defensive.
I may be wrong but the parachute upgrade is often credited to Rhodey's fall during Civil War (which caused the loss of his legs). He added the parachute to insure an accident like that never happens again.

Tony is brilliant, because he doesn't have to lose. He's smart enough to be objective, if he thinks you have any leg up even a tiny one, he'll change his suit so it doesn't happen again.
That's a strange way to word it, nobody HAS to lose, but we do all the time, and so does Tony.
And then his nanotech suits had mini arc reactors placed throughout to power individual areas of the suit so there is no single point of failure.
@@rudrasingh6354 mk46 and mk47 also had lights tho
He learned from fighting with Ant-man in Civil War, and he made his suit with seamless nanobots to prevent something like that again
He lost consciousness when he went into space for the first time in The Avengers movie. I suspect that he upgraded his suit to provide oxygen as well as pressure since. Of course, he may have lost consciousness in a different way, but I can't think of why else he would have.
I mean, his suit was clearly pressurized anyway, or he would have lost consciousness before reaching an altitude where Icing would be a concern.
one of his suits in iron man 3 is specialized for space exploration
Man just farted n smelt it
@@lucaswinsor4469 tbf, there is a distinct difference between pressurizing the suit for high altitudes, and having it provide oxygen for space flight.
@@zap4th368 If the suit is pressurized, any oxygen in the suit will remain there. Just because it doesn't provide extra does not mean that the few seconds tony was in space in the first avengers movie would have rendered him unconscious.
The MCU will never ever be the same as before without my boy Tony Stark!
He might come back since variants are now introduced in the MCU. Making his re-appearance possible in the current MCU. Even though this is wishful thinking, the actor RDJ made clear, he didn't really felt like going back, since the story arc of Tony Stark has been fulfilled, thus a re-appearance of Stark will cause his death to be obsolete-ish or less impactful to the story going forward without him.

If Tony was still alive in the MCU he’d definitely make a suit that would kill Thanos and defeat the Hulk.
He did create a suit to deal with the hulk with the help of Bruce banner. The hulkbester. And the suit was improved in Infinity War, but of course didn't need to be used against Hulk.
He did make a suit to defeat the Hulk. He used the Hulkbuster to defeat him in Age of Ultron
Uhm dude tony lost the fight in infinity war, 2-3 years later he still have the same armor that cant kill thanos
@@ZeroRarity4842 not what I’m talking about. If TONY NEVER DIED IN ENDGAME, HE WOULD HAVE BUILT A SUIT OF ARMOUR THAT CAN EASILY DEFEAT THANOS. I don’t give a shit that he had the same armour after infinity war in endgame. I’m talking about after endgame if he didn’t DIE.
@@AngelofDeath333 dude if your going to be mad fix your comment, all you said was "still alive" and "kill" u never said anything about defeat and what timeline 🤦♂️
I think another solution Tony’s nanotech fixed was when in Civil War, his targeting system wasn’t working cause his helmet got damaged. But thanks to the nanotech, even if parts of his suit gets damaged he can move around damaged parts for working ones depending on the situation.
The bigger question is, what were the armors between infinity war and Endgame? Because it went from mark 50 to mark 85 between movies
I would say they are nano holders(like mk50 chest piece) on his chest not full armours like the old ones(IM 3) and also tony know that he is needed to die for everyone to win so he was like:fuck it
@@ahmedziad4063 Tony didn't know he'd need to sacrifice himself until the moment he did it.
@@Declopse u mean like he has information in a database saying this is mk 70 layout and mark 80 layout due to different arrangement of nanobots but they never existed in a seperate nanobots holder

Also I wouldn't be surprised if the suits incremented from 50 or 85 with things like software updates to the nanobots, material improvements, the addition of the holo-shields.etc
The rope that tony fired at the ferry to prevent it from splitting in two could’ve been installed after watching peter tie antmans legs together in order to take him down

To compare Iron Man and Batman, I would say (the mcu version, didn’t really follow the comics) Iron Man jumped into the fight first blind and get hurt and learn and come back 10x stronger.
Captain America’s equivalent would be more like a version of Superman that was depowered (not being able to fly and all that ya know)
.
It did go from a single use electable cartridge to powered by the Arc reactor for multiple uses
He used it in Civil War too.
This defines the saying "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
Because tony learns from his mistakes
Wanna say when loki toss tony from his tower it took a while for his suit to reach him before hitting the ground. So wanna compare the scene when tony launched peters iron spider suit before falling far in the atmosphere and off the ship.
Or when he jumped off Stark Tower in Endgame with Nanotech
You missed the greatest upgrade man.
Couldn't take the gauntlet off,so he took off the stones later.
For that matter; he couldn't remove the gauntlet, so he designed his own Infinity Gauntlet and even programmed his Nanites to create it on demand.
I heard a theory he got the idea when meeting with Stark Sr. in the past.
"Shake it, don't pull it."
.
there's a very solid theory that tony's gauntlet was a one time use thing as well. but by not telling anyone and keeping thanos' focus on getting the gauntlet tony was able to steel the stones back

This is a certified "Because Tony learns from his mistakes" moment
Needed a Thor buster or celestial armor
Give him some more time, and supercharge the suit with the sun
Thor is two strong he could beat it just like hulk. In the movie hulk was even with the suit because he didn’t get mad enough. In the comic hulk was easily beat that suit. The big guy from the black order easily beat hulk buster and hulk is stronger than him.
The only way Tony is making a Thor Buster is by having access to Uru, it's the key to take on Thor
Uhhm, wait, celestial armor?? You mean Iron Man vs The Celestials??
@@GamingGaming-pe2pj I mean, yeah
It also could possibly be programmed to react with certain gestures to give it the effect it is coming from his mind

"Because Tony Stark learns from his mistakes"
Opinion. Tony’s superpower is: Learning from past mistakes.
BECAUSE TONY LEARNS FROM HIS MISTAKES

The only thing missing was the time ant man got in his suit in civil war
This is what I thought inspired the nano tech not the fight with cap and bucky
@@acesb24 the fight with cap and Bucky also did, but yeah this is the main thing tbh. Was wondering why the nano is so smooth now I realise was to get it to have no openings.
This was just fantastic. The infinity war suit was my personal favorite but the endgame suit was more powerful.
Never thought about it too closely before, but now the way Tony upgrades his suit because of loss or preparation reminds me a little bit of Batman who can defeat a variety of foes with enough preparation.
Because Tony learns from his mistakes
Tony after every mistake: "improvise, adapt. Overcome!"
"Because tony learns from his mistakes-"
"The Immortal Shield is worn by a Human that bleeds pain"

This was absolutely amazing I love every part of this
In Iron Man 3 Tony Stark"s suit has different features, he created the suits with different unique features, some of the suits even have successors with even better features than the previous ones, and another reason why some of the suit easily break is because he made them in a very short time...
I’m just here for the “Tony learns from his mistakes” memes. 🤣
When the weapons he made were used against him, he made a superior weapon then didn’t let anyone else have it without his express permission
It's almost like artificial intelligence is modelled after intelligence.

Another one is Tony added the parachute to peters suit because Rhodey fell from the sky and almost died when he hit the ground in civil war
Becuase tony learns from his mistakes
Tony saw that the stones made thanos almost invincible, which inspired the addition of the infinity gauntlet style glove on the 85, as well as the means to “steal” them from the infinity gauntlet
Allen Tsai: Because Tony learns from his mistakes.
