Gentaro and Kintaro play hard from morning.
Even when they returned indoors, they were still playing hard.
Their father, Momotaro, doesn't get miffed with them when they are noisy.
However, when the eldest son Gentaro annoys his wife Genki, he gets miffed.

I like how Momotaro corrects his boys. He runs up and “says” what he has to say then moves along. He’s not too violent but enough to get the boys to listen.
That’s all it takes! Momo is king and when he says leave your mom alone you better do it!
Gentaro cerca solo attenzioni, non vuole far del male a nessuno,anzi vuole giocare con il papà non scontrarsi, e Kintaro lo sa altrimenti non gli andrebbe sempre vicino, e a me non sembra proprio che abbia paura del fratello. Genki ne ha paura perché se la prende con lei,ma a parer mio le da solo qualche spinta, anche i gorilla hanno memoria! Gen can be a brat a lot! But I’m afraid if they send him away Genki will have a mental melt down because of Gen being taken when he was born. And of course the loss of her first child and the depression she went through. 😢

Poor Genki, she always has to be on guard!!! Would drive me nuts! I wish she would cry out, then Momo would know she's had enough of being hassled and actually pin Gentaro down! Take some of this harassment out of the picture! It wouldn't take much to scare him! He's just being a bully! Love the guy but it gets old seeing him do this to sweet Mom ❤️!
Einmal ist es zu viel Gentaro gut das Momotaro mal Bescheid sagt .Eigentlich ist Gentaro nicht böse die Hormone sind das schuld. Denn er ist zu Kintaro immer sehr lieb schade das ist nicht so leicht für ihn .Sonst sind sie eine schöne Familie die ich sehr liebe. 🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤

@@chuckdeuces911 Not the first time. You should of saw the day he ran Gentaro into the bushes! Lots of screaming from Gentaro. Kintaro wasn't all that old and Mother Genki was a nervous wreck! Think she thought Momo was going to over do it. You'll have to wait for that clip to come around again. Was rather scary, think Momo felt so bad he eased up to much on Gentaro. 😅😂🤣😳🤔❤️🦍🦍🦍🦍❤️

Genki is following Momotaro more and more. At 9:53 Kintaro runs after Momotaro. Gentaro still teases Genki every now and then, but this time Momotaro has decided to intervene. At 10:11 Genki makes a kind of gesture with her arm. Afterwards she follows Momotaro with a kind of facial expression. Interesting family dynamics and behavior on display in this video.

They say Silverbacks who play with babies growing up turn out to be good fathers. If this is true, I think, given the chance, Gentaro will be a great Silverback some day.

Genki has been following Momo constantly.
If it's not for procreation then it's because Gentaro is teasing mom.
He's putting his foot down not because of Genkis protection, it's because he wants a break!
Momo is a loner, he is no Shabani or Haoko who are more socially involved with their troops.

Momotaro didnt have a father or roll model so he is learning as he goes. Gentaro wasn't breast fed or raised in the beginning by his mother. He was taken by keepers until he was well on his way. Its been suggested that he and Genki dont have the bong Kentaro and mom does. Gentaro bonded with her because she was his only option. It is said that perhaps the bond was not as strong for Genki and when her baby Kentaro came along and she nursed him the bond was strong for them because of oxytocin and nursing for both mother and baby occur for both during the mutual experience. Genki got along fine with the male she was with but when younger females were brought in the ganged up on her and she lost status. It was hard on Genki and she was traumatized. She responded by self mutilation biting off finger and toes. Finally removing her she was joined by Momotaro. Is it possible she tries to keep things calm and stops Momotaro from correcting Gentaro because it triggers her ptsd? Anyone got any opinions based on case histories?

No lo ama demasiado esa es su personalidad no se cansa el ama su familia con pasión el es diferente fue criado por los cuidadores por eso es tan amoroso en su condición animal cuando se enamore y se vaya cuánto lo van a extranara principalmente Kintaro q queda solito
The dynamic is different between them as they both play with each other no questions asked 90% of the time. However with Gentaro and Genki, they used to always be together and Genki would hold him. However when Kintaro was born, suddenly Genki went from interacting with Gentaro everyday substantially to basically ignoring him due to her worry Kintaro would get taken away. Due to that, Genki held Kintaro 24/7, and almost entirely avoided Gentaro and Momotaro due to the instinct gorillas have to keep babies away from large gorillas. All that has to happen is that Momo or Gentaro fall, and if they land on Kintaro.... well you get the picture.

Cuando Momotaro enfermo ellos todos estaban tristes si dejan a Gentaro sale con Genki y Kintaro por la puerta del zoológico es amoroso e inteligente sabe hacer ala perfección las cuentas de la computadora para coger oremios
Consuelo entiendo lo que dices es triste ver Gentaro tratando de tener atencion de su mama pero el problema es que en liberta Gentaro tendria otro gorrillas de su dead para entretenerce o ya estaria soltero tratando de crear su propia familia,pues sus hormonas a esta edad lo hacen atraerce a la hembra del grupo que la unica es Genki,su mama y si Momotaro no lo mantiene en su sitio, Gentaro puede realmente lastimarla o a Kintaro porque lo ve como competencia. Lo mas problable es que pronto tengan que moverlo se este Zoo, por su propio bien pues Momo podria lastimarlo seriamente o el podria lastimar a Genki seriamente. Es solo situaciones naturales en el mundo Animal.

@@mariabitry4108 entiendo correctamente tu explicación pero debemos tener en cuenta que Momotaro fue criado por los cuidadores del zoológico por 10 meses ella no podía amamantarlo el en su forma de actuar aunque es un animal salvaje fue criado como Nino es tan me amoroso con toda su familia ama de q Genki le gusta lo acaricie ama a Kintaro con pasión y a su padre lo preocupante es q está llegando a la adulta y los especilistas q tanto los cuidan tendrán q determinar q hacer y harán lo mejor los cuidan mucho les recomiendo lo una a Any la de Sabanis es bella y carinosa y así hará una bella flia me encantan estas publicaciones

Me parece q Gentaro no puede ser llevado ya a su habitad natural porque fue criado por los humanos del zoológico debido a que Genki no tenía leche hasta sus 10 meses lo alimentaron y lo llenaron de amor es muy amoroso y súper inteligente a la perfección hace las matemáticas para recibir obsequios sucede está adulto ya y sus hormonas están revueltas los especialistas harán por ellos lo mejor debían analizar para ver si lo une a Anny la de Sabanis bella joven buena elección harán lo mejor por ellos no estoy de acuerdo con los animales enjaulados pero ellos se han criado en una habitación cálida con frazadas para tratarse y alimentos frescos están muy bien cuidados y tienen espacios libres
This seems to happen everyday now. Just before the keepers open the doors to Momotaros,' side compound where he eats by himself. Gentaro seems to act up in excitement (maybe of the food to come), but poor Genki gets the backlash! I wonder if the keepers could somehow corral Gentaro off to one side to eat, away from his mom and little brother. I know that it is not a very convenient situation, however, Genki seems to get very distressed. Am I over reaching the situation???? Let Gorillas do as Gorillas will do?
Gentaro is just acting like all the gorillas, natural, even in the wild. In their blood, mama Genki is ok. Got 2 spoiled boys!!!! Big papa will handle Gentaro if he gets too rough with mama. ❤🦍🦍🦍🦍🙋♀️🐕

its soundproof and very thick so not easily break by gorilla.....
The video is being filmed on the out side where the public watch the gorillas not in the compound where the gorillas are ...so they can't hear the public talking and shouting ...its better we hear the talking than the gorillas ...imagin if the gorillas had to hear those people talking all day and every day it wouldn't be fair to them
