You are one of the few unreal tutors who actually does the stuff we care about, and I want to make a suggestion, it'd be great if you could make tutorials on make a full video game that includes level designing, UI, character creation and several elements that make a game. I'm sure it's not above your skill cause I've seen a few of your videos and they are very good. Hope you take this into consideration

Thank you very much sir! This was great, you are focused and to the point. The paid courses I have looked at are crap compared to your narration and execution. Very well done!

UI artist trying to get a handle on some umg, so I can be more useful to my studio for an upcoming project.
I'm great when it comes to 2D art and would have a lot to learn if I were to be able to use umg professionally, but this helps. I'll be checking out more of your vids...
    Thank you! :]

How's the UE4 going? Im the same boat, Im a 2D/UI artist who learned UMG at my current studio. I feel pretty comfortable now implementing most things at least visually with no functionality. However a lot of it still feels like trial and error. Overlay is my best friend.

I noticed the menu widget is overlaid over a blank level, could you instead overlay it over a level with content and have the level visible (but not interactable) if you wanted a dynamic background.

is it possible to make a complete android app with this widgets and umg tool instead of the video game ? like a informative app or a slide show or something ?

I’d pay money for a detailed tutorial on animating a metahuman without retargeting. From the ground up. Not the making the metahuman part, I think that market is covered. Every Metahuman integration is always retargeting though and never being done in the blueprint class from scratch. That’s frustrating because then nobody is covering making a player select screen cause there isnt multiple playable characters.

Thank u for this yet another great tutorial, I have a very good FPS template and wanted to merge it with a vr project, my main issue was the menu is anchored to corner which conflicted with VR view port....and I didn't know it was an anchor issue....will try to fix it using this anchor settings.

@@WexMobile well, anchoring does work, but it didn't fix the problem, as there isn't a VR equivalent to "Add to Player Viewport" sadly :S :S
      ibb.co/d2WtKqF
I tried to make a VR interaction widget and link it to the menu, however at the character selection before game, the screen is fixed to one of the HMD screens :S :S

A tip for those who do tutorials. Dont speak too fast and this video is good on that.
But also its just as important not to go around clicking all over the window too fast, if you expecting people to follow you and learn.
And for me final straw on this video was the endless loud fast mouse clicks very distracting
I learnt from this too for when i want to teach, and the point is not to act like you had too much red bull and extra strong coffe, it creates an atmosphere not most conducive to learning.
Go easy on the mouse clicking and move that mouse cursor around at pace for a tutorial, else its a stressful waste of time.
    Thanks for sharing
