Not bad on the range, I am so glad that they fixed the FPS on 4k. Looks good. Truly a versatile little Drone/video-cam/etc, etc. Love the Videos! Stay safe Dustin.
More great content Dustin. Still some choppiness in the 4k. With the Mavic Air 2 at $100 less, I think this one will have trouble selling.
Go with the DJI mavic Air 2, about the same price range for a better drone with higher resale value. Look for it on sale after Summer.

Looking forward to the waterproof housing test. Everyone is saying Mavic Air 2 Mavic Air 2, I agree for the price it’s probable a better all round drone but it’s not waterproof, the Egg is.

It's kind of unfortunate that many of the drones with market disruption potential fall short on their promises. The poweregg x and zino 2 for example were plenty exciting but their failure to deliver on features and specs advertised, as well as at their price, compel buyers to just go for dji

I think it looks absolutely stunning. It's a decent range. A mean for a person like me this would be perfect as it would be my 2nd drone but I'm still getting used to my Bugs 4w 4k..yeah I like it. Good Job 👍😉

I got 16,000 in heavy WiFi. I think you will get 20,000-25,000ft in Maui!! Can't wait!!!🙂
Maybe a re-test o a clear (non-cloudy) day will give better results. The moisture in the air will really play havoc w/ your RF connection.

Great Video, FWIW, for the price of this thing everything should work properly. Now if it was priced like the X8 I could live with the short comings. Don't know how and why someone could thumbs down this, must be the FAA!

I purchased one of these flying eggs and really wanted to like it. I flew it one time and all went well. I saw they had some updates for it so I thought I’d update it. The battery was dead as a hammer. Mine just came with the one battery and now it’s useless. I haven’t had any of my calls returned from PowerVision. I haven’t found the battery anywhere for sell. I’m not very happy with this broken egg.

This drone simply lacks refinement compared to DJI models. It's all summed up by the app saying "controller unconnected". Imagine a grammatical error like that in a DJI app!

I opted buying the PowerEgg X over the Mavic Air 2 simply because I already own a Mavic 2 Pro, and wanted to try something new. Very pleased with my purchase.
It also looks aesthetically very pleasing. I´m kind of disappointed at DJI for cloning the same Mavic model over and over again. Quite frankly, they should hire a
designer for the Mavic Pro 3 to rework it from the ground up. Or just skip it and release the Phantom 5.

In my opinion, Autel Robotics is probably the closest rival to DJI in terms of technology and quality. It's just too bad they're mostly focused on the US only now.
As Hong mentioned probably AUTEL's EVO line. The parrot Anafi and Fimi X8 also come to mind 🍻
@@DustinDunnill thank you for your time I've had the typhoon h DJI spark three of the phantom 3s the phantom 4 I've always been a big fan of DJI and I've heard something and I don't know how true it is when you fly your DJI and it uploads that it sends it back to China or something it makes me feel uncomfortable 😣 do you know anything about what I'm talking about?
DJI is ultimately a Chinese company yes. I look at it this way:.
I'm no more paranoid using Dji drones than I am with Google using my internet data. I can see why parts of the government in the US (DOD) wouldn't want to use them for national security concerns, but for everyone else I honestly don't think it matters even if they are gathering some information.

Hi Dustin love your videos i have a dji mavic mini the drones camera in not staying stable and camera isn't staying straight on sports mode can u help??
Try all the calibrations and or reset software if that doesn't work 🍻

You said you disconnected the phone WiFi --- how would you expect the map to work ?
He clearly said he has the mobile data on, so you'd expect maps to load if you have reception.

Politics have no place on this channel, I have always enjoyed your reviews, but I also read comments, you shouldn't respond to political rhetoric and stick to the subject, by commenting and repeating main stream media propaganda (which completely ignores 1 side of the story) you have alienated many people that you have a lot in common with. Including me

Well, as SebyDocky used to say, "It is not amazing" ... ha ha. As for the 4K video, my 2 yr. old Evo 1 shoots better 4K 60fps video than seen here. Probably, the "useful range" (before FPV starts breaking up) is about 2500 feet max (although you did have some pixelation at that point). Not great that they still don't have the Google maps working in the App, as well. Maybe after a few more updates, they might iron out a few of these issues. Read in the news today that people are 'on edge' there in Hawaii about the lock-down, although, in your videos, I see people are getting out. I suspect most of Ohio (except perhaps for the larger cities of Cleveland, Columbus & Cincinnati) will be fully open by the end of the month or June 1st. Take care .. Mahalo ...
