Looks more like I-70 West to the traffic light in Breezewood and a left onto Rt 30 going to Bedford.

Yeah it is, I didn’t have any other footage of I-99 to use

I've always loved driving to relax and unwind too, so I totally get the vibe of your videos. I used to be embarrassed about it, since it seemed like driving was a thing I was supposed to hate. Just always found it calming. Glad to hear this is your area of study, because as great as our transportation infrastructure is, it could sure use plenty of improvement! Road Guy Rob and Practical Engineering channels would be right up your alley (if you weren't familiar already).

I really appreciate this! I've watched a bit of both of their videos and they are both channels whose videos lead people to mine, so I'm very thankful for that! Driving is so much fun for me, but I understand why not everyone appreciates it

This is the first video of yours I've seen and I'm interested. Could you maybe talk a little about your school and your hopes for a career? I'm a truck driver and an urbanist and thinking about a career change, but I've been hesitating on civil engineering because I'm not sure whether I'd actually be able to do something interesting or not.

I would love to go in depth with that! Thanks for the interest

Its a shame how one man in power can't disrupt the entire order of the Interstate Highway Numbering System, the point was a person could travel the entire country on the Interstate, and could theoretically get anywhere with a map or GPS, I-99 screws it up, and potentially created path for more,, like the proposed I-3.. It never should have happened

I like HawaiiMongoose's idea of extending I-78 westward, being both a "catchy" number while also fitting the grid.
I also still prefer the portion from Williamsport northward to be an extension of I-83, though this would really depend on the status of the route from Harrisburg to Milton. We already have the Central Susquehanna Valley Thruway being built, though most of the 32-mile stretch of US 11/15 from its junction with US 22 to the CSVT's planned southern terminus is below freeway standards, more than what would have to be done for the I-78 extension. Of course, if there will never be plans to upgrade US 11/15 or build a parallel freeway, I-186 is the next best choice.
Since the last video, I have also thought of I-81 and I-83 swapping routes north of Harrisburg if they want to stick strictly to the grid or avoid a triple-Interstate or wrong-way concurrency on I-81 exits 67-70, though I personally find it no big deal.

You make some really good points. I definitely think upgrading US-11/15 in that area would be beneficial for folks traveling to/through Williamsport or even from southern PA to I-80. I was not aware of the CSVT, and I still need to look more into it.
I also agree that swapping I-81 and I-83 north of Harrisburg would make sense too. Maybe have the interchange at the current I-83 exit 51, then have a new alignment of I-81 go north northeast toward Buffalo.

@@AspenRodri Although, on the other hand, it is not uncommon for Interstates to go only slightly against the grid. After all, we have I-89 going east of I-91, I-93 crossing I-95 in Boston, I-11 (or rather its future route) and I-15 crossing each other in Las Vegas, and I-77 crossing I-81 and I-85, so maybe I-81 and I-83 crossing each other will be fine. Plus, the wrong-way/triple-Interstate concurrency in Harrisburg would only be 3 miles long.
I mentioned in a comment on the previous video that I-83 could go to Rochester, following the alignment of I-390, with I-590 becoming I-583 (or I-581 if I-81 goes to Rochester). It would leave the old numbers open in case New York builds a loop or spur of I-90 that does not connect to any other 2-digit Interstates. I do not know where that could happen, but it is good to be prepared.
