Synopsis:
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
Blade Runner 2049 is an upcoming American neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. It is the sequel to Blade Runner, starring Ryan Gosling, and Harrison Ford reprising his role as Rick Deckard, with Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto in supporting roles. I would say that this is very good, but that would be an understatement.
Paul Gérard this sounds dumb. Vangelis would do so much better. It just sounds like the over dramatic inception soundtrack and all the other com"posers" that followed that same style

I think Janzen is correct, its not a song. Music in support of a movie is a score, and music that stands alone ( no singing, no movie ie:Bach) is an instrumental. At least that's how I remember it from my school days.
vangelis did much much better very atmospheric and soothing this is just slightly in par however the rest of 2049 music is crap.

And I left the theatre breathless and thinking: Wow this might just be the greatest movie ever made.

I plan on using this track as the background music for the footage I will take on my 420km solo walk across the Lut Desert in Iran in the summer of 2021, where surface temperatures can exceed 70°C (158°F). I think this track perfectly captures the desolate journey I am in for. And if it kills me, the footage will survive, and my brother here in Melbourne will edit and upload the footage in my memory...

Ive listened to this so much! To me, it doesn't need to sound nostalgic but I definitely feels like the next step as a sequel should be! The synths are just gorgeous in this but I am mind blown that this is not the official soundtrack! it should be apart of it!

Outside of what I normally watch, Blade Runner 2049 was the best movie I had ever seen and was one of the few movies where it kept me so glued to the point it felt like I was the only one in the cinema. It was a beautiful movie and the score was just amazing
