Great video. Thanks guys. During my "zen-like" moment of self reflection I realized again that my Rancher 420 is awesome for what I do. I also realized, that when I decide to cough up more coin, and I double the ponies, an Outlander L 570 Limited Edition is what fits my real needs.
i have a 2014 650 XMR, and love it, it does perform excellent on trails, kinda bumpy on the road of course with the tires, but definitely a very maneuverable ride. I had a 2009 550 xpeps sportsman, no comparison to this great atv. i would expect the 570 feels the same as mine. i can kick the ass end wherever i want even at 60 km/hr on the trail. so trail riding................yes it can, and keep in mind even though tires are bigger than the tires on the stock 650 outty, its geared to be exactly same speed and torque. i know cause i raced my buddy's 650 XT from hole to finish, except the xmr is tapped at 105 km/hr and the stock XT is 120 km/hr. so the end is, top end is faster............neck and neck the rest of the way, but in mud, the XT doesn't compare. The 850 and 1000 cc can am's will get you there faster, but top ends governed the same XMR 105 km/hr, the rest 120 km/hr. definitely worth the money, i never have to clean my rad............
I have a 2017 570 DPS. It does pretty dang good in the mud. Unfortunately I have gotten my rad covered before and the bike kept going into limp mode. I don't mud enough to do a relocation kit I like having the utility space. So yes I'm glad I didn't buy an XMR like I had originally thought I would
i have a 2017 outlander 570 XMR and i love it! its a great all around machine for trail riding and mudding but my 1 major MAJORE complaint is the stock suspension is absolute garbage it bottoms out on literally the smallest bump!!! i upgraded to the fox podiums and they are amazing only $550 for all four shocks its definitely worth every penny!! i now have no complaints the machine is perfect now.
Luke I have to disagree with you. Coming from an Arctic cat I believe it's not bad on the trails. The power steering is probably a great factor not ever having it in the past. I took it out for the first time last weekend near you guys just off of pine springs road in Halliburton and just loved it. Now I'm a Can AM Man for sure. Been riding the Halliburton trails since 2006 and never ever seen you guys there Maybe one of the days.
I have the 570 xmr and it is mean. This is the first atv that I have bought on my own, actually it is my first atv period. $8500 is a price you cannot beat on a mud machine but you still need a bike to ride on the farm or around the neighborhood. When I purchased mine I added the winch and also a plow and the price was still only @ $9500. I am going to MudNats in March and I am taking mine to see what it can really do.
Great video, I own a 2013 800R XT, please for those of us looking to change, reveiw the 850 Xmr or renegade, I consider your opinions when I make purchases
OK Luke. You are doing a test. So let me know about the issues with trail riding. Does this L model have the upgraded XMR Diff? How about the belts. Upgraded or standard model? The hot set up I have heard on the web is to get an XMR and put less aggressive tires on them for smoother trail riding while still having the stronger drive train. Please answer some basic questions and win me over to the LXMR. (Note, I am looking at this for my wife, while I am looking at the 850 XMR for me) I agree, a winch is necessary. But a low end Rear Diff would make this a non starter.
I like it looks awesome and works awesome! But as luke stated this is ment for the true mudder which I am not yes I like too sometimes so I would rather go for the rene with a set of tires
If your looking at an L and you do any kind of trail riding in wet and muddy conditions look no further. the standard L is great but will clog the radiator faster than you can clean it, and you will have to stop every 5 min to let it cool off. the only way to solve that is a radiator relocate. so save your money and buy this one add a which and you are set. the mudzillas are not terrible on the trail and will dig in the mud.
Hi! Please do a review on the Renegade 570 XMR I can´t fin any reviews! I have the Outlander XMR 570 and the XMR 1000 but now looking into the renegade 570, I wonder if it has more torque or how is it different from the outlanders
It would be great if you guys made another video of the xmr 570. I'm am thinking of buying one when I graduate here soon and there are not many videos out there of it
If you can afford the 650 go that route power is essential in mud riding. Not that the 570 don’t do well they work good iv had one. Now run the 850 world of difference in the deep stuff.
Yeah I agree. It is time that Can-Am own up to the fact that a) the belts and transmissions are one of the first things people HAVE to upgrade B) Can-Am has a BIG problem with Rear DIffs when big mud tires are used. XMRs in the 1000 model are supposedly upgraded and are stronger, but still breaking. This isi the second most upgraded part after the clutching and belts. C) the snorkles as designed are not well sealed, not well designed, and are the 3rd most replaced item. Now I can forgive some of this, but for the Dollars we pay for these things, they should be bullet proof. DIRT TRAX is way too invested in Can-Am to provide us a realistic review. Which is my biggest complaint.
+Esai Garcia i feel like polaris copied can am with their mud machines, they said that they were the first people to have a whole family of mud machines and can am has had them for a while
I just payed mind you in Canadian funds just under $12000. That's including everything taxes and all the Bs government charges, But Ill tell you took it out this weekend for the fisrt time and I have to say It great.
Umm, no. Its not. The xmr has rad relocate, snorkels, plastics, better suspension, better axles, and outlander XT wheels, on top of the tires. you cant fit bigger than 26 inch tires on a factory l 570 without different wheels and a lift.
I own the 570 XMR. You have similar torque from both. Remember this is a V twin 570. Not a single. It feels like an 800 and is faster and more powerful than a grizzly 700 and brute force 750 and many more.
Great video. Thanks guys. During my "zen-like" moment of self reflection I realized again that my Rancher 420 is awesome for what I do. I also realized, that when I decide to cough up more coin, and I double the ponies, an Outlander L 570 Limited Edition is what fits my real needs.
Love the fact that you did your monologue with both you and the bike covered in mud. Thumbs WAY up!
you guys need to do a video on the 2016 Can Am renegade 1000 XMR
$8,500 retail??? Now that's a deal! Actually, it's a steal at that price!
i have a 2014 650 XMR, and love it, it does perform excellent on trails, kinda bumpy on the road of course with the tires, but definitely a very maneuverable ride. 💯
Am I the only one watching in 2020
Same lol
What about 2021?
Great video, I own a 2013 800R XT, please for those of us looking to change, reveiw the 850 Xmr or renegade, I consider your opinions when I make purchases
have you tested the 850 xmr outlander? I love the mud but my 2wd 350 rancher just won't cut it.
Just got a Polaris ranger 570 full size. Great episode as usual keep em comin
I just got a 2017 570 xmr and I was wondering if I can put a hmf slip on without tuning the bike ?

i agree 100% with this review,i bought the 650 xmr and it should come with a winch
You guys should review the Polaris Highlifter Sportsman 1000
+Garrett Hale They would if the front pinion plate would stay together long enough to actually ride it.
phatcawk lmao and you’re watching a cannam video. I could name way more problems with canam reliability then you can with Polaris.
I can’t had them both 2 Polaris sportsman’s way to many problems switched to can am no issues so far

how is the 570 compared to the 1000 is it major power difference? thanks man
It would be great if you guys made another video of the xmr 570. I'm am thinking of buying one when I graduate here soon and there are not many videos out there of it
I just bought my 570 Xmr Renegade not long ago . I have a couple videos on my channel. Nothing too deep yet but more vids coming.

Love the video, I would love to see a shoot out for the best stock mud atv
Do a video on the renegade xmr 1000
Great VIDEO!!! so useful to me , caus I will buy between this or POLARIS....

Can Am needs to hire someone from QSC or Gates and engineer a better factory primary clutch. This goes for all of their models.
Yeah I agree. thanks for your honesty
Dirt track can u guys plz do a 650 xt review thanks
how does this compare to the xmr 650
What's the deal with atv companies not including winches with mud specific rigs??
Cause I'm at 10k with full skid and winch. fml
Great video great advice!
You should make a new video of the New one with the mega mayhem's and see how it goes against this one.
Can you do an 850 Xmr?
Wow no winch?!? WTF!
High Island DIY still a scam
winches are for pussies who cant drive
Walter White Sure.
It definitely is a trail bike as long as you upgrade the suspension right from the dealer it’s a must the stock suspension is absolutely garbage
good video man
will it struggle through mud sometimes
Amy Knipe every bike struggles in mud sometimes
The Polaris Sportsman 1k High lifter edition is better! Review that one damn it!
LOL. I need research that one. hah.
Look it up.
+Esai Garcia i feel like polaris copied can am with their mud machines, they said that they were the first people to have a whole family of mud machines and can am has had them for a while
Esai Garcia That is what research means. I plan on it!!
+Esai Garcia really ? you are comparing a 1k to a 570 ? did you notice the price difference between them ? it better be better !
I can’t believe the difference in American and Canadian prices. I paid almost 14,000 for my 570 renegade xmr that’s taxes In and freight and pdi.
how much does it cost
+Jasper Mills I'm sure you can find pricing on the website.
Basically $9k
+Jasoer Mills look at the site "ATVROM". And the search this model.
I just payed mind you in Canadian funds just under $12000. That's including everything taxes and all the Bs government charges, But Ill tell you took it out this weekend for the fisrt time and I have to say It great.
Hey Frank so are you liking your 570 XMR ? i was looking at one of these and wondered how people are making out with them
How good could a 570 cc be in mud
can am rocks
subscribe 2 my channel please it is called BREACH CHAOS
Or you could throw rocks at a can-am
Positive Traction, lol or we can all throw rocks at your slow Honda, who we kidding it's probably so slow it's growing plans. 😂
Best video
I'm getting a 2021
So it won't pull a trailer of firewood? And why is it so bad at trail riding??
It's not bad a trail bike it is great acutally
I have the same bike love that bitch
woow manigga
Lol a 570 cant just haul those 28 inch don't waste money on a higher cc motor just buy a tuner solves my assassinator problem on my renegade 570
just buy a outlander l 570 and put a mud tires !!! its the same !
Umm, no. Its not. The xmr has rad relocate, snorkels, plastics, better suspension, better axles, and outlander XT wheels, on top of the tires. you cant fit bigger than 26 inch tires on a factory l 570 without different wheels and a lift.
ING. ZV nope, it’s not.
Two wheel drive ATV
L stands for lady
Why would you want a 570 mud bike?? At least 650 is needed.
48 horsepower Budget mudder. It'll sell. If you can get the 650, do it.
I own the 570 XMR. You have similar torque from both. Remember this is a V twin 570. Not a single. It feels like an 800 and is faster and more powerful than a grizzly 700 and brute force 750 and many more.
First👌💀👻
What an honor.
