Have you applied to the dining/food service departments at hospitals or nursing homes (the places elderly or sick people live)? I don’t know if Australia is the same as the US, but they are good food service jobs with flexible hours and decent pay here. And nobody who works in food service thinks to apply there, so they are usually hiring where I live! Your English is improving so much and you’re very brave to move somewhere new by yourself, you have a lot to be proud of!
