I have a tip that may help!!! Floss threaders! Or you can even use a piece of string. For your center elastic, have it already ties and knotted, and pull a single piece of stiff string or dental floss through the loop. Then, feed the two ends of the string through the hole in the TN. That way, when you pull the string through the hole, it stretches and pulls the thicker cord through easily ☺️ Dental floss threaders work through same way. You can get them anywhere and make this super easy.
I make and sell TN’s and this is how I thread all of mine quickly ❤️ I hope this helps

I threaded my elastic on a yarn needle to get it thru the tight holes and it worked great. Thanks for this. It really helped

I find dental floss threaders really help when rethreading through tiny holes.

Thank you so much! I needed this because my husband got me one that had only one string but two holes up and down!! This helped TREMENDOUSLY!! I hope you don't mind me saying, but next time you should add timestamps so it's easier for those to get to the tutorial they are looking for! I LOVE your videos!! Thank you so much!

I’m so glad that I could help!! Have fun with the new TN!
I can edit the description any time so if you let me know what parts need time stamps I could add them in 🥰

Took me a few trys. The inside cord kept getting twisted. Finally hot it right. Thank you so much. I bought a cover that was strung with very thin, cheap cord.

I'm not ready to re-string my TN's yet, but I found this very helpful because I was wondering how I would do it. Now I realize it's not as difficult as I thought. I needed that visual, so thankyou for doing this.

Thanks for showing this. I'm making a daily journal and wanted to create it as a TN but in a hard back book cover. Creative Blessings!

Do you have a preference on the style/layout of the internal elastic? Like 2 up 2 down vs 3 holes across top and bottom? I'm trying to make my own with materials I already have but I don't know much about why people set them up differently.

This is great but I still can't figure out how to get the elastic through the holes without a needle.

Thanks for the guide, but there's a cut at 9:49 and that's where you lost me. I can't seem to reacquire the orientation to understand where you're working after that.

      I’m not 100% sure but about 3mm or 4mm
