I watched the full interview this morning and was so pleasantly surprised by Phil. I always thought of him as a bit arrogant back when he competed and wasn’t a huge fan, but it’s amazing what a difference a back story and some context can make. What an articulate and interesting man. Thanks for bringing him on Loz! Really enjoyed it.
Would like to see Phil do Hercules Hold. Phil looks and sounds as good as the last day he competed. His giant joints apparently are holding up well enough to have him feel great enough to feel like competing.
These behind-the-scenes stories are what makes Uncle Loz's channel a must for any Strongman fan.

How an athlete acts on the field is different than who they are in person
IMO,before Mark Felix , Phil Pfister was the greatest Hercules holder of all time.
And he got me into strongman when I first saw him in 06
Really liked your full interview with Phil
...a legend
This was a hilarious bit to showcase when hearing the story behind it.
Thank you Loz for the amazing, no BS content.
Great to see Phil on the channel, that 2006 worlds was the first strongman comp I’d ever seen and I’ve loved it ever since.
That was such an incredible overwhelming speech by this man
Absolutely inspiring 👏💪💪

Great video as always 👍
Phil!!!!!
This speech is my all time favorite WSM moment. What a bad ass
That’s the thing about Trickle Down economics
...it never works
I'm just here for all the "It was 2006 WSM, .. 2011 Brian Shaw won" comments.
The clip shows 2011 but it was 2001 when he delivered the Hercules Hold Speech
2001 not 2006
I just ran out of stuff to say... bahahaha
I always thought Phil was trying to distract himself
How old phil pfister now?
